The story

This is a wonderfully entertaining story. The narrator does an excellent job bringing out the humor and magic of the characters and story without being too childish. The plot is somewhat predictable, but filled with so many imaginative, warm, odd, and funny moments it does not seem to matter. If you enjoy Roald Dahl, you may want to try it. This is a light and simple tale worth the listen!

Light, funny, magical listen.

Entertaining enough to keep both children engaged during long car trip. Lovely accent of narrator. Humorous for adults too.

Kids 7 & 9 enjoyed it
