Excellent Story and Narration

I disliked nothing about this audiobook, it was a great story and the narrator was great.

This book is so full of twists and turns you’ll find yourself steeling away just to read the next page. Quite literally one of the best books I’ve ever read. I can’t wait to read the next book this author has for us!!

A perfect blend

This was the perfect recipe of historical fiction, mythology, and folk horror with the talent to cook it into something awesome. Great character development, vivid settings and imagery, and I loved the WWI combat parts. It's hard to find good horror, but Hoover is at the top of my list these days. Definitely check out his other work if you enjoyed this one.

Put away 80 audiobooks in the past year and this was the best

It has a bit of everything . And the narrator has such a range it legit feels like different people 10/10
