A story set in the Wild. The story sucks you in, and you’ll find yourself rooting for the good guys. Don’t want any part of these woods.

Good lil read
Good book interesting enough plot and lots of good suspense. The pace was pretty good up until the end too were it good a little rushed. Also a few times the narrator could be hard to follow as sometimes he picked the same voice for two characters making it harder to tell who was speaking at some points.

Just Read It
Honestly this book and author has just become my new favorite. I was skeptical at first due to the lack of reviews but decided to read it anyway. I’m so glad I did because this book is amazing. It’s so well rounded and it really draws you in. Most definitely going to be binging all Douglass Hoover’s books.

Slow and steady.
great story! I won't spoil it, but it takes a minute to pick up, very intimate and descriptive. it keeps you wondering what's going to happen next so it's a great listen when going on a hike.

not what you expect
As I listened to this book, I'm a Maine native by the way, I hated it. However the end made me realize it wasn't written for my entertainment. Hats off to the author!! I recommend this book to everyone. Especially to those who need some hope. Listen, the end is the best!! Thank you to our armed forces you're not forgotten. Ever!
