Christian Book Nut

This is a wonderful story. If you ever wondered what happened to the Roman soldiers after they Crucified Jesus, This story will give you something to think about. And the Narrator was great, his change in voice for the different charactors and his accent was very compelling.
I would very much recommend this book to anyone who wants to imagine what the Roman Soldiers went through that Crucified Jesus. Or just wants a really exciting listen.

Reminder of what a Classic is...

After reading the emotionally wild-swinging and morally reckless romance novel THE HORSE WHISPERER, I felt a warm return of quality writing and character development in THE ROBE. A richly woven tapestry of events and complex characters so much better than the pat situations and stock romantic pawns found in too many novels written today.

Great story and narration for an apocryphal story.

The author’s liberties with the gospel accounts were at time inaccurate , but overall beneficial. The author is interposing a lot his western world views into the N.T narrative
