Love Micah!  Great romantic suspense!

This book so was fantastic that I couldn’t stop listening until I was done!  I loved Micah’s and Sienna’s story!  Micah was so sweet trying to get Sienna to be with him, but she had been through a lot in her life so she was very cautious.  Micah’s family and Sienna’s sister were great characters in this book.  There were some funny moments along with romance and suspense.  You can’t help but fall in love with Micah and Sienna while listening to their story.  You will get your HEA, and will be left with a surprise ending for Ellie.  Now I can’t wait for that story to come out!!
Sarah and Gideon did a fantastic job on the narration.  They brought the characters to life with all the emotions and feelings they put into each of the characters.

Story captured my attention pretty quick

This story captured my attention pretty quick, wondering how hard Sienna was going to make Micah work for her heart. With his persistence and a meddling little sister, Sienna finally gives in to a date giving her a glimpse into the true soul underneath the powerful exterior... and that window to his soul opens more when danger strikes and Micah has no intention of leaving her vulnerable...and yep her heart is definitely in jeopardy. Through the angst, danger, and suspense these two find their forever love. Narration brought the story to life from the pages.

Sienna's future is all about her finishing college and taking care of her younger sister to make their life for the better. Working at an exotic club, was not her plan, but it paid her bills.
She caught the eye of Micah, whose family owns the club.

He slowly breaks down her walls, and builds trust.
Danger, suspense, steamy romance had me captivated throughout this story.
Gideon Frost and Sarah Puckett narration is very good. Both performed with the instensity and emotions of each character

Brilliant - dying for more.

This gripped me from the start—why am I such a sucker for characters struggling? As always with this author, there’s an abundance of sweetness, mixed in with hints of darkness, and it’s pulled off beautifully. It’s also insta-love for 1 party, and slow-burn for the other … it may sound weird, but it’s well done here.

I had wanted to to find new authors to fall in love with their stories and characters and this author is one of my 2023 new to me authors that I know I will listen to more of in the future. This is the 3rd book of hers and I enjoyed every single one of them (be it menage or M/F, they all are awesome!).

I loved Sienna from the get go. Her tenacity was amazing to listen to and see grow. The way she had to step up and take care of her sister. How much of a BA she was and held her own at the club. I also loved seeing her open up to Micah and his parents and letting them create a family together despite their rocky start. The way these two started off...the chemistry was just flying off the page/you could feel it while listening. The persistence Micah showed with getting to know her, with not letting up the opportunity to go on the date even when it wasn’t what it seemed haha. The way he fiercely protected her and Ellie. I couldnt help giggling at Ellie’s antics and how she tried to get them together. She stole the show a couple times, and I am so glad we get to see her story because of how things ended made me upset for Sienna and wanted to know why Ellie was that way. Also her little crush on Micah’s brother was hilarious and I totally get how she felt haha.

The storyline was high action (and so was the steam once Micah and Sienna got to that point in their relationship, it was honestly a slow burn, high heat/tension before that!). Sienna and Ellie’s mom cause a whole host of issues, their lives are in jeopardy and Micah and his family have to swoop in and save the day. A lot of twists and turns I didnt see coming (like who was related to Ellie!) and we knew there was going to be a confrontation between the different families, esp with how intertwined the deaths were. I enjoyed the back and forth between storyline and sexy scenes. This one had more humor than I excepted, but I shouldn’t have been surprised after the other books by this author I have listened to made me smile and giggle a lot too! My only issue was I felt the ending was rushed a little and things felt off with who dealt with who. But overall I would still give the story 4.5 stars.

Narration was fabulous, I love both of these narrators and they are on my automatic listen list for a reason! They really brought these characters to life. I loved the antics between Ellie and Sienna, admired the building tension between Micah and Sienna and how I felt their emotions easily while reading, and how deplorable her mom was was done well. I think I got a little confused when some of the side character voices changed partially through the audiobook (like Micah’s brother), but I would still give it 4.5 stars for the narration. Would 10000% listen to more audiobooks by this author and anything by these narrators <3

Romantic suspense

The Risk of Falling is book 1 in the Falling in Love series. You get marriage of convenience in this romantic suspense. Micah and Sienna’s chemistry was intense and all consuming, despite Sienna’s reservations in the beginning. A strong heroine that was dealt a crap hand at life, and a protective hero that would do anything to keep her safe. The drama, action and steam held my attention throughout the whole book. I can’t wait to read Ellie’s story next!

Gideon Frost and Sarah Puckett did a really great job narrating these characters and bringing their story to life.

What an incredible book from Nikki Ash. Sienna dreamed of becoming a ballerina. She put all of her dreams on hold to raise her sister. She had to become a stripper to pay for the bills. Micha is one of the owner of the club and several businesses around town. He usually never is attracted to any of the dancers. Until he saw Sienna for the first time. There better be another book. I can’t believe it just ended like that. Sarah Puckett and Gideon Frost did a fantastic job narrating.

He falls first..

I really enjoyed this book. I love the marriage of convenience trope. The way Micah fell first and didn't give up trying to get Sienna to give him a chance was perfect. At times she just annoyed me, but it was only because he was going above and beyond for her. Yet she still kept making excuses even though she wanted him. It is definitely worth th read. Can't wait for Ellie's (the sister) story.

The narration was so good. I have listened to both these narrators before and really enjoy listening to them.

A little slow

The book is a little slow but all in all it’s not bad. The ending is crazy. Nothing as I expected. Both narrators did an excellent job at narrating

I loved everything about this book, from Nikki Ash’s fabulous writing style to the amazing characters and storylines she created to the perfectly cast narrators who bring it all to life from the pages to your ears. I also loved the originality of the story, how it drew me right in, grabbing my attention and captivating it straight to the end. The characters are easy to relate to and connect with. Sienna Bardot is doing her best to take care of herself and your fourteen-year-old sister Ellie, since their mother is nothing but trouble and hardly ever home. To keep her safe, she brings her sister with her to her job at Wanderlust, where she dances. Sienna always dreamed of dancing, but it was on quite a different stage as a ballerina and not a stripper. But she does what she has to do, at least until she gets her college degree. Micah Alexander was smitten with Sienna the moment he laid eyes on her, but he soon learns that she is not like any of the other dancers at the club. She does not give him the time of day, which makes him want her even more. I admired Sienna for her determination to succeed and stick to her plan. Micah steals moments with the help of her sister. Ellie is smart beyond her years, knows the sacrifices her sister makes for her, so she does not want her to pass on what may be the best thing that ever happened to her. My first impressions of Micah were wrong, he may have been a powerful and ruthless businessmen, but we are only shown a glimpse of that side, we get his warm and caring side. He definitely won over my heart very quickly. This is wonderfully plotted story has plenty of drama, some angst, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Nikki Ash, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride. I had to look and was so happy to see that Ellie is getting her own book which I am looking forward to and am hoping Lincoln is part of her story.

I loved how they took each role and made it their own, sounding believable in every role they played. Frost and Puckett played their roles perfectly, capturing every aspect of their characters' personalities. They put so much heart into their work that you could feel their character's emotions through their performance. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.
