Couldn't Stop Listening!

This one was a little more emotional than I first guessed. Kinsley goes through such an emotional journey in this book in order to move on with Shane. Shane is a fire-fighter raising such an amazing daughter who helps Kinsley open up. You need to listen to this one as the audiobook brings the characters to life in a way me reading them doesn't! I think you usually see the FMC being the one who has it all together and comes in to save the MMC but this isn't the case for this one! So, it's refreshing and had me hanging on every word!

Such an emotional rollercoaster. The loss and trauma Kinsley went through is heartbreaking. I can't imagine that kind of loss.
Shane's daughter Taylor, I love that she refers to her physical romance books at trophies. I relate to that. Taylor and Kinsley bond over books.
Shane breaks through the wall she put up around her heart. I love their HEA.
I listened to the audiobook. The narrators were fantastic. Lexi Evans & Theo Sinclai

The fireman and the tattoo artist

Exposed Ink stole my heart away. The things that Kinsley went through and how Shane breathed new life into her. It was as if they were both just existing, even though Shane had a relatively good, quiet life with his older teenage daughter, Taylor. It took a lot of resistance on Kinsley's part, but Shane never wavered and earned every piece of Kinsley. Little by little he chipped away at the stone she had erected around her heart. And I love the relationship between Taylor and Kinsley. It was low key my favorite.

Lexi Evans and Theo Sinclair did a fantastic job on the dual narration of the audiobook. I listened to it in one sitting.

another firefighter to fall in love with

I love Nikki Ash's writing and this book is now one of my favourite stories by her.

After a major loss, Kinsley keeps her focus on tattooing. Her walls are high and her level of guilt is high after the accident that changed her life. With an incredibly supportive family and friend, she slowly moves on.

I felt incredibly sad for Kinsley. She held on to so much pain and really had a hard time letting Shane in.

I thought their meet cute was perfect. Shane was persistent and I loved that he referred to Kinsley as 'Sour Patch'.

Their love story was very so well done and I admire their connection to each other. Shane's teen daughter Taylor was a great addition to the storyline.

I had some great laughs during this book.

For the audio version of this was incredible. Lexi Evans and Theo Sinclair did a wonderful job. These two are new to me and they were cast perfectly for this book.

The narrators did a really good job.
Loved listening to their story. I always look forward to Nikki's stories and this one was great. Kinsley is a tattoo artist if you've read Nikki's books she first appears in Through His Eyes as Quinn's daughter. Shane is a single dad 😍, paramedic ❤️ and the way he talked 🔥🔥🔥🔥. They meet when he responds to a call where Kinsley was having a severe allergic reaction. Nikki just have a way of writing a story that just has me interested and can't put down. This one make me laugh and cry. I loved Shane's daughter too and throwing in that her and Kinsley were bookworms loved it. As always look forward to her next book

Standalone romance

Ash delivers the best romance read / listen! I loved this dual narrated contemporary romance. Full of emotions and a beautiful journey of hope and healing. Our main characters are Shane and Kinsley. I love the addition of Shane's daughter, and the love of romance reads and how that plays a part in this book. I adore how Kinsley made Shane work for everything and how Shane was able to worm his way into her life and heart. The fun of nicknames and so much more make this such a delicious romance. The narration is perfect in bringing this book and characters to life. Ash is so great with delivering relatable characters and a smooth flowing storyline that's well balanced with sweet and steam and humor. Ash is always a go to author for me, and this book is a great example of why...a wonderful read/listen!

Awesome Story!

This was such an emotional and romantic HEA story.  Kinsley has been through a terrible tragedy and meets firefighter Shane when he helps her with an allergic reaction.  Kinsley didn’t want to be involved with anyone, but Shane kept finding a way to meet with her and keep talking and learning more about her.  She became attached to Shane and his daughter Taylor as time went on.  This was such an amazing book!!  The narration by Lexy Evans and Theo Sinclair was great and made the audiobook very enjoyable to listen to!

An emotional listen with a sweet love story

I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and was eager to finish listening. I was hooked from the first words. The narrators really brought the characters to life. Shane was an amazing man, just perfect to draw Kinsley out of her shell of a life. An emotional roller coaster with past heartache and trauma, I loved how Shane and his daughter connected with Kinsley. There was some angst, but overall a sweet story.

Shane & Kinsley...

Exposed Ink is a single dad, he falls first, love after loss romance. It's a journey of healing, patience and love. It's heartbreakingly beautiful and full of emotion. Shane is the perfect cinnamon roll hero, and so patient for Kinsley to get where he is. Taylor is absolutely the best I adore her and hope we get her story as well.

Levi Evans and Theo Sinclair did an amazing bringing this story and these characters to life.

Exposed Ink is a small town, single dad romance between a firefighter-medic and a tattoo artist.
This story about healing after loss and find love when you least expect it follows Shane and Kinsley.

Kinsley's backstory will tug at your heartstrings and my heart just went out to her.
I loved seeing her open up again after her loss and Shane and his daughter was the perfect remedy to make that happen.

Shane was amazing. His patience and understanding with Kinsley was exactly what she needed and I loved his determination and willingness to go at her pace. His daughter Taylor was an outstanding secondary character and I loved her relationship with Kinsley.

This story was emotional and sweet and I loved seeing these characters find their HEA. I enjoyed the novel and would recommend it to romance lovers.

The audiobook was performed by Lexi Evans and Theo Sinclair. They did an awesome job with these characters giving them their own voice and personality. Their voices were clear and understandable and they made the listening experience an enjoyable one.
