Sovas 2023 Award nominee: Best Ensemble Cast Voiceover

I’m head over heels in love with my best friend. Although, I can’t pinpoint exactly when Reeve Lancaster became my entire world.

Was it when we were little kids, practically brought up together, after Reeve’s mom died during childbirth and his dad subsequently fell apart? Or when I doodled his name in my school journal at age 10? Maybe it was when we became boyfriend and girlfriend at 14 or when we shed our virginity at 16, pledging our forever?

I was there as his star ascended—like I’d always known it would—and there wasn’t a prouder person on the planet. As the only child of Hollywood’s golden couple, I’ve lived my life in the spotlight enough to know it wasn’t what I wanted for my future. But I sacrificed my own desires, because Reeve’s happiness meant everything to me.

Until he crushed my heart into itty-bitty pieces, forcing me to fly halfway around the world just to escape the gut-wrenching pain.

The opportunity to study at Trinity College Dublin came at the perfect moment, and I jumped at the chance without hesitation. If I’d known fate was meddling in my life, perhaps I would have chosen differently, but my future was cemented the instant I laid eyes on him.

Dillon O’Donoghue was Reeve’s polar opposite in every way, and perhaps, that’s why I felt drawn to him. He was the dark to my light. The thorn in my side, irritating me with his cold disdain, wild recklessness, and a burning rage hidden deep inside him that spoke to a silent part within me. Yet Dillon showed me what it was like to truly live, opening my eyes to endless possibilities.

What happened next was inevitable, and I only have myself to blame. He warned me, and I knew my reprieve was temporary, because there is only so far I can run.

Especially when fate hasn’t finished messing with me yet.

Includes books one through three and bonus content.

I'm angry!

This has got to be one of the most infuriating books I've ever listened to! The lead female character has got to be the most STUPID person I've ever heard. I won't spoil it by explaining what I think but suffice it to say I wasted a credit on this one. I couldn't finish it because it made me so very angry at her! I am not crazy about Sarah Puckett either....I think she is very monotone, and she whispers everything, but that aside, I love the author and wanted to love the story. If you like stupid women who do extremely stupid things, go for it. Otherwise, you're wasting a credit!

Meh

The female performer is so blasé, Sarah Puckett. Her voice is annoyingly monotone; no infliction whatsoever, which sucks because I really like this author... she writes great male characters, but her female MCs end up being easily boring or manipulated or walked over or weak in general.

An emotional rollercoaster I’ll ride again and again

This trilogy is a testament to the strength of family, true, soul crushing love, commitment, and the power of healing. Dillon and Vivian have built a beautiful family and life together after so much pain and loss. I don’t remember the last time a story gripped me like this.

So many feels!!! I felt them all!!!

As a whole I loved this entire story! Vivien falls in love with her childhood best friend. And when he shatters her heart, she moves to another country to find herself again. And in the process she makes some great new friends and also falls for another man! But then when she is set to go back to America, he lets her leave! And doesn't fight for her at all! She is quite adamant that she will not get right back together with the first love, but when he picks her up from the airport, with her heart shattered all over again , she listens to what he has to say. Eventually he proves himself to her, and they get married and start a family..... only to have love #2 show up 5 years later in their front room and send Vivien's world into a complete and total tail spin!

And so begins a love triangle with ENORMOUS repercussions! There is NO cheating in this story! Vivien is with Reeve at one point in her life and with Dillon at another point in her life. Problem comes when those 2 worlds find a connection that Vivien was not aware of. This story had me in my feels! I was mad, then I was happy, then I was mad again, then I was sad, then happy..... it was a roller coaster for sure. There were many jaw dropping moments..... and ones that set the panties on fire! This is definitely a story I would recommend to anyone! And the narration was pretty good. I was totally enthralled with the performances.

Thank goodness for a pause button!

This audiobook was long but so worth the listen. There were many times I can admit that I had to pause and take a breather. Talk about taking me on a wild ride of heart-wrenching, emotional heartbreak. The characters weren’t perfect, they journey was definitely not smooth but so worth all the angst! Brace yourself if you decide to jump on this emotional roller coaster ride. It’s full of ups and downs but enjoyable nonetheless. The narrators performed their heart out and made me feel EVERYTHING!

Absolutely amazing!

This took me 4 days listen too, one night I didn’t even sleep! It’s so amazing! I laughed, cried, screamed, hurt for Viv so many times…my heart. But all and all these books were more then I could have imagined! Twist and turns all around! A must listen for sure! This Author always gets me in my feels! Thank you for this, and the bonus tracks help put so much in perspective!

AUDIOBOOK HANGOVER AFTER THIS!

What can I say is WOW! We all know I listened to the first two books months ago… got a tattoo in honor of the books and the author! But listening to this all over again gives me goosebumps again!

If you haven’t read or listened to these books… you NEED TO! This is a must read series. It’s called a duet since Siobhan wrote the first to books and then followed up with another about the sons. And damn… with this complete series she even gives a little bonus pieces that I know we’re asked for in her reader group!

Siobhan delivers a powerful punch with this story! You will laugh… you will cry and you will hurt… but she will put you back together again and make it all better! I promise. My heart soars with this story… I still cry when I think about all the secrets revealed and everything that happens throughout this entire series! But it’s so worth it! You will thank me later!

Amazing trilogy worth the emotional rollercoaster & angst

Say I’m The One:
First off...these narrators of this audiobook were fantastic. I love the multi narrator aspect. They were on point at every turn. Those Irish accents though...wow...never knew I liked that accent, ha. Very well done.
Ok, for the storyline. I’m not going to lie. There were so many times while listening, that I wanted to turn this audiobook off. Not because it was bad or bad narration...just the opposite.
I was so invested in these characters, & the level of disdain I felt for Saffron was just that strong. I know that my blood was boiling at one point. To me, that shows EXCELLENT writing. To be able to make me despise a character to that level, pure skill. The relationship between Vivian & Reeve was just so sweet & perfect. At least until he got the one thing he really wanted. Then, maybe angst is a better adjective. I commend Vivian for sticking by his side through it all. She’s a better woman than me, ha. But when it was over, man was it over.
Then, plot twist...cue Dillon stage Dublin!
Wow...that man was sex on a stick. Their attraction was electric & so palpable. He was such a romantic when it came to the woman he wanted. Even though her time in Dublin was limited, they still went all in on making their relationship the best it could be. I was so glad that she was able to heal her heartache.
I was thrown for a loop when she went back to America, I was so torn. I’m going to stop there as to not spoil too much more, but that ending...wow. I didn’t see that coming & I can honestly say that I’m totally on board for the next installment.

Let Me Love You:
Great companion to book 1

Well, I’m not sure what exactly I was expecting, but I’m not mad at all & pleasantly surprised with how this 2nd book went. There were several times when my emotions & loyalties changed. As new things were brought to light, I had to take a minute to absorb it all. So many turns & bends in the road on the journey that was Vivien & Dillon’s love. They seemed to be exactly what the other really needed from the very beginning & it just came so naturally. Their ability to just adapt & roll with the punches there close to the end is goals. Excellent emotional & angsty read that just draws you in.

Hold Me Close:
Heartbreaking

I can’t say that this breakdown by Bodhi didn’t surprise me. I had a feeling that once he saw the movie, new feelings of his childhood would emerge. But the way that Easton stood by him at almost any cost just showed the depth of love this family had to give. The level of love that Vivian & Dillon showered on him was astounding. But he is neither his mother nor his father, and their sins should never be taken out on a child.
My heart broke for him a little, but having a guardian angel saved him both in body & soul.

Audiobook Review:
The narration cast in this trilogy is stellar. I love the switching from American accents to Scottish accents. It kept me on my toes & it gave a sense of authenticity to the story.

Amazing story, excellent narration

I can see this being a tv mini series - I laughed and I cried, it was an amazing ride. The narration was excellent with multi voices playing parts, so no female doing male voices or vice versa. This made it easy to listen to. Irish actors playing Irish parts and American voices playing American parts made it easy kept it flowing smoothly. But the story was just fantastic - so worth the credit. My first Siobhan Davis books, definitely won’t be my last!!

All the feels

This series gave me all the feels; I laughed, I cried, I snorted, I rolled my eyes, I blushed, I swooned.. And then I did it all again.
This story is powerful on another level, Viviens way of feeling so much and so intensely is almost a tangible thing. It sure drew me in like no story has done before. Siobhan Davis has some serious talent, that goes without saying.
The narrators also did such an amazing job, I really liked the way the different narrators always voiced their own characters (even when it's another characters POV) it took some getting used to at first, but then I really digged it.
I highly recommend this, but be warned - you'll want to listen to it all in one sitting!

Heartbreakingly good!

Reeve Lancaster and Vivien were perfection, until they weren't. The real question is can they work things out or are they done for good, until you keep reading and all is revealed.

Dillon O’Donoghue where do I even begin, I loved his bad boy moody self, with all his antihero glory, He is exactly the guy I fall for in all the books! I wanted him and Vivien together so bad, but then things happened, and I was reeling.

I couldn't tell how this story was going to go and thank goodness for the box set because those cliffhangers were something else.

This story surprised me at every turn and there were a few times I wanted to strangle Vivien but I didn't know the secret at the time, same as her and understood why she did the things she did. However the ending was amazing. I loved the love and devotion and dedication to each other. I wanted more!

Loved It

Title: All of Me: the Complete Series
Author: Siobhan Davis
Format: Audio
Narrators: Eric Nolan, KC Sheridan, Logan Anare, Sarah Puckett, Sam McGovern
Genre: Romance, Contemporary, Love Triangle, Rockstar, Hollywood, Friends to Lovers, Enemies to Lovers, International, Neighbors
Standalone: Yes
Part of a Series: The complete series of All of Me (and some bonus scenes)
POV: Vivian, Dillon, Easton, Bodhi, Reeve
Steam Level: Steamy
5/5

Before I listened to this box set I had already listed to the first two books in the series (the initial duet) but not third and final/follow up book, which is like an extended epilogue that takes place about 8 to 10 years after the ending of the second book. I highly recommend reading this series in the box set. I loved the three bonus scenes as well. This series is emotional, heart breaking at times. Dealing with emotional topics including betrayal and forgiveness, love and loss, lies and betrayal, revenge and guilt, secrets and self-destructing the All of Me series is fantastic. Throughout the tough there is also love, friendship, adventure, and laughs. Family and found family are important throughout. Siobhan Davis is a fantastic author and the series and amazing.. Even the second time around I was pulled in from the start - laughing and crying and swooning over Reeve and Dillon.

Book 1: Say I'm the One
Narrators: Sarah Puckett, K.C. Sheridan, Logan Anare, Sam McGovern
Genre: Romance, suspense, friends to lovers, neighbors, Hollywood, enemies to lovers, triangle, rock star
POV: Vivian
Steam Level: Hot
5/5

Siobhan Davis is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Say I'm the One has it all - steam, suspense, the boy next door, a bad boy tattooed rocker, mean girls, and amazing friends.

Vivian and Reeve are best friends. They are each other's past, present, and future. Or are they? Reeve's Hollywood career is taking off and fans of Siobhan Davis will enjoy what film he lands a role in, recognizing the scene they practice. However, thing go sideways in a spectacular way leading to Vivian spending a semester abroad/in hiding. Without Reeve.

Enter Dillon. The bad boy up-and-coming rock star who's a moody, and sexy, jerk. Their chemistry is undeniable. Dillon is closed-off, angry and the perfect fling - except when feelings get involved. Whoops. What's Vivian to do? She's in love with two guys.

Fast forward several years when her worlds collide in an explosive and unexpected way. Vivian's world is shaken. Things she thought she knew are in question. And did he know the entire time? What about him? He says that the other did but was he as manipulated as the other?

Siobhan Davis is a master writer and I'm so glad I had the second book to dive into because if I had had to wait I would have lost my mind. Say I'm the One made me stop and just be with this story and these characters.

Book 2: Let Me Love You
Genre: Romance, triangle, second chance, enemies to lovers, rock star, Hollywood
Narrators: Sarah Puckett, Sam McGovern, Logan Anare, KC Sheridan
POV: Dillon and Vivian
Steam Level: Toasty
5/5

I have a confession. I figured out who Vivian ended up with from the first chapter of the first book. However, what I didn't know was the emotional ringer Siobhan Davis would put me through to get them there. Any holy biscuits is this and emotional journey. I like that Siobhan Davis doesn't shy away from difficult topics. As Let Me Love You unfolded mover and more secrets were revealed. It seemed like everybody was hiding something and as the secrets were revealed more and more pieces of this story slotted into place. Betrayals, both expected and unexpected happen. Old enemies emerge at inopportune times. And the cuteness that Easton brings lightens what could have been and heart-wrecking story. It's heart-wrenching at times and I didn't know how Siobhan Davis would redeem a characters but she did in the best way. Very rarely do I want to relisten (or reread) a book or series but this is one (well two) that I will reread in the future.

Book 3: Hold Me Close
Narrator: Eric Nolan, KC Sheridan, Logan Anare, Sarah Puckett
Genre: Romance, rock star
POV: Dillon, Vivian, Easton, Bodhi
Steam Level: Toasty
5/5

Hold Me Close is the third book in the All of Me Duet. It's more of an book length, extended epilogue that takes place about 8 or 10 years after the initial duet ends. Vivian and her husband are still happily marries. The issues here start when their sons watch the movie about their family and the love Vivian had for the two men that Viv had written in the first two books. Both are upset but Bodhi is especially upset and acting out. I loved having both Easton and Bodhi's POV along with Vivian and Dillon's. I love how they try to deal with all the feelings - anger, betrayal, abandonment, guilt and love. Hold Me Close was just as emotional as the first two books and I loved it just as much. This is a great follow up of the All of Me duet and Siobhan Davis continues to be a masterful storyteller. She knows how to weave together both the heavy and the light-hearted and kept me listening long after I should have stopped. I loved it just as much as I loved the first two books in this duet..

Bonus Scenes:
There are three bonus scenes, all pivotal to this story and I loved them. This first scene is in Reeve's POV which I don't think we ever got in this story. This scene takes place after one of his and Vivian's arguments. In it, you can feel his love and devotion to Vivian. I loved having this addition to this story to see his reaction to what happened.
The second scene is from Dillon's POV. We saw this scene from Vivian's POV initially. I loved seeing it from Dillon's. I loved that spark was mutual and seeing Dillon's reaction to Vivian was fantastic. It explained a lot and seeing his thoughts was a great addition.
The third bone scene takes place between the first two books and I wanted more., but it was also enough. These bons scenes were all a great addition to this amazing story and allowed me to revel in it a bit more before the book ended.

I received this audiobook for free from Audiobook Obsession and Pink Flamingo Productions. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Prepare to binge!

Oh.
My heart.
....
These books..... I don't have words. The love. The angst. The roller coaster of emotions....
This is the gorgeous story of Vivien and her capacity for love. You get sucked in and it's impossible to let go, even when the angsty situations drive you crazy. This story certainly got all of me.
The audio version really comes to life with five (5!!!) narrators, the different accents and the skill of all of the voice actors. Prepare yourself by clearing your schedule, since you won't be able to turn it off and load up with tissues. Maybe warn your family and friends for some ugly crying, since mine are side eying me after this. (Sorry not sorry 🤷‍♀️)

Emotional Rollercoaster

All of Me, the complete series includes - Say I'm the One, Let Me Love You, and Hold Me Close.

This series is exceptionally written and it's heart wrenching but you will feel like you are in the world with the characters and feel all of the emotions. It's angsty, full of drama, and had some unexpected twists. Reeves, Dillon, and Viv had me captivated and I struggled to hit pause on their story. The intense emotions throughout such as love, hate, pain, happiness, characters being manipulated, but it was such a great story and I did enjoy each character for different reasons and I had moments I was not their biggest fan and moments I was cheering for one over the other. Hold Me Close was a great addition and provided a great ending to the series. If you are a fan of "messy romances" this series is for you!

The narrators did an awesome job of pulling me into the story and really had me feeling all of the emotions. A great listen and story if you need one that will pull on your heart.

All of Me series

The All of Me series is jam packed full of angst, sibling banter and a whole lot of miscommunication and misunderstandings. This was an emotional rollercoaster from books one to three. Even the bonus scenes.
I wasn’t much of a fan of the last book though as I felt it didn’t add anything to the story but quite the opposite. I’d have preferred to always think that the HEA was indeed forever and included everyone.
The narrators were great, specially the Irish accents. It truly made the story that much more realistic.

4.5 star

Say I'm The One 4.5 Stars I skipped this to the front of my TBR as soon as it dropped into my lap. And I'm so glad that I did. I've read enough of this authors other work to where I don't even read the blurb any more so I went into this pretty blind. I suggest you do the same. Because this is a journey. My emotions are all over the place. I'm not okay. SD can write angst like almost no one doing it right now and this is no different.
Let Me Love You 4.75 Stars I have been fully consumed by both parts of this duet. I won't forget it for a REALLY long time. It's certainly an emotional rollercoaster. Worth every smile, every tear, every gasp and every swoon. Simply put this was outstanding.
Hold Me Close 4 stars It was so nice to revisit Viv, Dillon, and the kids. Be warned this gets pretty angsty but I truly couldn't put it down when I picked it up. Its quick and I think it sets up more stories to (hopefully) come. Fantastic end to the story.

Awesome

Book 1 Jesus, that ending ……. I don’t know if I like that twist! Viv you are fucked arnt ya! Poor girl. I’m at a loss as to what I’m feeling here.

I don’t like either of them overly enough 🤣
Let’s carry on with the series but I’ll need a little break
4 star listen.
I always enjoy Siobhan’s stories I recommend this author also the narration was done overly well. Having an Irish partner I appreciated that the storyline and the accent was done really well to reflect that side of the story.

Book 2 I didn’t see this coming, how tragic, so many little things. We do get a hea but it’s bittersweet.

Book 3 this one is about the boys, we don’t hear much about the girls but the boys, those poor boys. I liked this one, more like an extended epilogue I liked hearing more about this family. I didn’t realise I needed this. Great ending but I do hate that such big events are the only way a lesson is learnt in this series. Audio was fabulous.

I loved it!

This is an amazing story read by amazing narrators.
I laughed, I cried and I was surprised. I loved the way the narrators played their characters in storytelling.
It's definitely worth the read, and I highly recommend it.
