The story was good. It could have definitely been spicier.
The story is 95% narrated by the female narrator which was annoying. Not sure why they didn’t use the male narrator more but it would have made the audio better.

I listened to the audio version and enjoyed it. The Reaper is the second installment in Runyx’s Dark Verse series and written in third person.
The Reaper wraps up Tristan and Miranda’s story in the series but also opens the doors to new storylines, which I believe are being addressed with the rest of the series.
There are some twists at the end that are surprising and I highly recommend you read or listen to the book.
The only reason why I didn’t give it a full five stars is the narration. While the narrator is good, her narration was slow. In order to keep the narration from dragging, I had to listen to a speed of

More Morana and Tristan
I wish this were a dual POV, but Tristan Caine would only have one chapter! The Reaper picks up after the first book, and the story gets better.
Morana is a tough and brilliant FMC! She's the light to Tristan’s darkness, and he’d do anything for her. Yes, he’s a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes. I'm excited to read about Amara and Dante next and learn more about Luna.
