This is a dark hockey bully romance and it was so good Greyson was so mean, a bully and possessive but by the end of the book I couldn't get enough of him. His obsession and hate turns into love and he is so protective of Violet. Love them together!!

Highly recommend the audio....soooo good!

Brutal Obsession is the perfect title

Brutal Obsession is exactly like the title says. This couple and their relationship was brutal but yet the obsession so strong they just couldn't leave each other alone. I normally enjoy a dark bully romance but Grayson was just a bit too much for me. For 3/4 of the book the exchanges between the couple had me questioning how they could possibly redeem everything. Then it all just clicked and I ended up enjoying the last part of their book. The bit of suspense was a nice addition and kept me intrigued throughout the story. Overall I liked it but there were a few moments where I was definitely questioning continuing.

not for me

I didn't get very far in this. I know this is just my preference and I have a love /hate relationship with dark romance. maybe I keep choosing the wrong books, but WHY does it seem like the FMC are just plain stupid. she is portrayed as very intelligent. then continues to make the most idiotic choices. that is what bothers me the most.

Dark romance at its best!

i loved this story when i read it when it first came out. Listening to it made me fall in love with it all over again. It has everything you want, and more, in a dark bully romance. On top of that you have two amazing narrators bringing the amazingly twisted story to life.

Violet had worked her whole life to become an amazing dancer and Greyson came from a rich family that bought his way out of all the trouble he found himself into all the time. All it took was one night, one mistake with drunk driving for their worlds to collide. And now her dancing carrier is almost assuredly over and his hockey aspirations are on the line. When Greyson finds himself now at the college she attends the next semester...its time for his vengeance

If you like dark bully romances give this whole series, Hockey Gods, a chance. Its pretty amazing.

Narrators did great. I did like this story but Gray, is such an A$$ Violet is a weakling. Hate when they make heroines with no backbone. Gray, my opinion is nasty and I would never be with him. He’s Gross.
