But something bigger, something worse is happening in their world. And despite their animosity, only they can fight it down.

Slow burn. Witty Banter.

****Narration**** Not a huge fan of their voices, maybe it will take a few chapter to get used to listening to their voices. Also not a fan of the narrators talking about their character in third person. I wish that they would talk in first person.

update: Took me until Chapter 6 to get used to the third person narration and the narrators voices.

****Story**** (update from chapter 6) The story is enjoyable, it has a great story plot and the tension is soooo nice haha I love the banter that they have between each other. she knows how to push his buttons and he just knows how to get her interest.

One negative review that I read a lot was that "they just kept staring at each other", not sure if its because I am terrible at eye contact but I loved the ominous stare. The title made so much sense with just these act alone, I could see the predator side of him and I loved it.

The author repeats a lot of phrases and it kills the vibe of the story. example "she has changed", "she is unable to describe it, so she wont", etc. if you can't explain it... don't and don't write it in the story because its pointless.

The writing style....

Is so weirdly repetetive. The same thing is said 3 times in a row but in slightly different ways. But yet I'm sitting here fully ready to go to book 2 because I want to know more. I think that repetition was intentional but the narrator didn't know what to do with it so the inflection is way off sometimes - it almost felt like she accidentally read the same sentence twice but in fact that's how it was written. I've liked other books from this author so I'm gona keep going.

Amazing performance

Loved everything and was enamoured with the way the story took a different vibe by being told in this audio

Good overall story

Story was very good, the FMC was a little angry like ALL the time, and her constant aggressive behavior did not come off as strong, but weak in my eyes. Which made her a little hard to like .
