Spicy but soft

She's a runner, kinda tired of it. The spice was nice but I was getting irritated at the girl. Kinda was left wanting with more of the guys dark side as well.

I feel like there could’ve been a little bit more character development, especially knowing this is going to be a series. But that’s what has me hooked because I can’t wait for book 2!!!

Ehhh.. good,,, but could be me

Don’t get me wrong, story line is good. It’s just the main female character…. Constantly running away or whining. Says she “knows” what kind of guy he is but ditches every time he is literally being/acting like that “kind of guy”. I found myself ffwd through her parts when she was just plain over reacting…. Esp at the end. 🚨 Spoiler: he puts a tracker on her phone, she gets taken, he saves her life, then she runs when she finds out about tracker. 🚨 Maybe I’m “young” enough to know that I have my location on so my husband can find me in an emergency (we both work in the medical field so we see how fast life can change in a second) but to me, that’s just a weak fmc. Toughen up girl. Granted another thing he does do is just worthy of a throat punch lol so don’t get me wrong there. BUT don’t base it off my review! I just like a level headed, smart and strong fmc. And as a dark romance reader, she doesn’t fit. I’m not sure I want to keep reading because of that. But might give the next book one more shot before I just give up. 😂
