I couldnt get into this book at first, even took a break from it. Once I came back the book really did pick up and I enjoyed it. It is your normal Mafia man takes Mafia mans daughter.

I only just started listening yesterday and I’m done already. Each chapter had something that left me asking what’s going to happen next and now I find myself at the end.

Woah!!!

This book had me on the edge of my seat!!! It was much more then I expected! Love the narrations 🖤

Okay overall but I rolled my eyes a lot

Elena is so in denial throughout most of the book about who the people really are around her. She doesn't think first, she just acts. I couldn't stop rolling my eyes at certain parts. The story was okay overall I just wish she was a stronger woman sooner. Julian should have been honest with Elena and some of the nonsense could have been avoided. Julian got on my nerves when it came to Marie. Just because someone is the help doesn't mean you treat them like trash. It ended with a HEA, but I'm not sure I'll read book 2 or 3.

Fantastic male narration

I really enjoyed the male narrator, however the female narrator took some time to get used to. Story was your normal “arranged marriage mafia” book - she’s fighting him, he’s controlling, they are insecure, etc. etc. Nothing special, but a good way to pass the time.
