Drew me in automatically

I only just started listening yesterday and I’m done already. Each chapter had something that left me asking what’s going to happen next and now I find myself at the end.

Woah!!!

This book had me on the edge of my seat!!! It was much more then I expected! Love the narrations 🖤

Okay overall but I rolled my eyes a lot

Elena is so in denial throughout most of the book about who the people really are around her. She doesn't think first, she just acts. I couldn't stop rolling my eyes at certain parts. The story was okay overall I just wish she was a stronger woman sooner. Julian should have been honest with Elena and some of the nonsense could have been avoided. Julian got on my nerves when it came to Marie. Just because someone is the help doesn't mean you treat them like trash. It ended with a HEA, but I'm not sure I'll read book 2 or 3.

Story was great for dark romance but….

The female narrator ruined a lot
Of the story for me. The had to force myself to keep listening to the beginning bc I wanted to stop two mins in because of how robotic she sounded and the pausing and stopping between words was horrendous the male was fantastic wish it was all read by him bc she was terrible I wanted to listen to the other two in the set but I am debating bc I don’t no if I can handle any more of her narration smh 🤦‍♀️

Female voice

The female actress in this is mind numbingly frustrating! The halting way she speaks drove me crazy! Otherwise the story was pretty good!

Good for duel narration

Sometimes when I found fault with the narration, I wondered if it was the story driving the cringe feeling I got. Too many plot holes for me and not a fan of ignorant or non-listening FMCs. It was a good one to pass time with. I did enjoy the narration mostly.

Too much

Just too much…… and the female narrator sounds like a robot at times. Was glad when it was finally over

I never think twice about using a credit on these two authors I’ve never been disappointed and I wasn’t with this book either I cannot wait for the second one

Great Story & Narration!

It was a fun mafia romance story! Lots of sexy times and drama. Narration was excellent!!! Very spicy and action filled!

I really wanted to like this book more

I have about 5 hours left for this book... female lead is hard to relate to in a lot of ways. maybe it's the narration of the story or maybe the flow of the story all together. it's hard to see how the intimacy/ trust is going to build between them. I'm not sure what's missing, maybe it's simply NMK (not my kink)
