"Captain Hervey of the 6th Light Dragoons and ADC to the Duke of Wellington is back in the saddle ...He is as fascinating on horseback as Jack Aubrey is on the quarterdeck." ( The Times)

Sharps first cousin!

If you enjoyed the Sharpe historical fiction novels, you will enjoy Mr. Mallison’s novels.
Instead of a British footsoldier, the protagonist is a British cavalry man. Other than that, the novels are very similar in style, pace, and dialogue. You really feel that you’re there and experiencing the life of the protagonist. I’ve read all of the Sharpe historical fiction novels, and I’ve been searching for something similar for years. I finally found it with Mr. Mallinson’s novels. Do yourself a favor, buy one of these books, kick off your shoes, get nice and comfortable, and enjoy some fantastic stories!
