Several stories

First time reading a book with several stories going on, so thats interesting. The stories are broken down into very small chapter for each couples story and cliffhangers at the end of the book with several book to follow. They really could have been separate books. The narration for the Noriegin is all wrong but other narration was ok.

I like the actors who spoke the character parts. They did a very good job on the story

Absolutely addicting!

What can I say? This series has taken my life over completely! What do I mean by that? I mean that as soon as I cracked open the ARC of this book I literally have not stopped reading this series since. Every waking hour, minute, and second I am reading this series. I finished this book, book one in one sitting and read until 6 am to do so! Sleep be damned, I am HOOKED! First thing the next morning I frantically tracked down the rest of this series on Kindle Vella and have been reading non stop for 3 days now, about to finish season one on KV and it just gets better, and better!!

Let’s dive right into why I am currently carrying this series around like it’s another appendage. TMA gives you so much with fantastic pacing to let you learn just enough to keep you guessing and dying to read the next page. It’s structured with multiple POVs from several women who are running from dark pasts filled with pain, trauma and struggle who just hoping to find a safe CONSENSUAL way out. One on their terms, and they find that in The Marriage Auction. It is an opportunity to marry someone, the highest bidder, (with a post auction month of getting to know them) for no less than 3 years for millions of dollars yearly and more. I loved that while technically speaking the women are being auctioned off, the overarching theme is consent, consent, consent! These women can walk away and say no at any point in time free and clear, and are protected legally and financially too. These bidders are thoroughly vetted and legally bound to treat them right. Not just anyone can even find out about TMA. I think that’s important to point out these facts so you know when deciding if this book is for you. Because if it wasn’t that way, or was in any way about harming women, I wouldn’t read it. Also yet again, this is why reading romance written by women is so big for me yall. CONSENT. Each woman, man and couple is a bit of a trope in her own way, we get enemies to lovers, love at first sight, Prince Charming, twins/sibling rivalry, lost love, looking to live again, and so much more, you get it all! There is truly a couple for everyone, and if you’re like me they are all for you.

The men who are the bidders are oh so swoon worthy millionaires/billionaires (cue our millionaire romance fans!) with a lot of “WHO HURT YOU” energy that I am alllllll about. I dare you to NOT find yourself fanning yourself at 3 am on a Tuesday grinning like a cat reading the spicy scenes! It can’t be done! It just can’t! This book not only gives you steam and spice, and romance galore but it gives you so much laughter, healing of complex trauma both personal and generational, and a lot of sisterhood both familial, and found family too. (I’m looking at you Madam Alana, call me girl I love you!) You get to see and love these complex, compassionate, strong willed men and women who are changing their lives in the biggest ways. You’ll watch them open up to love, hope, healing, and be flawed in the most honest human ways. Some ways we can all understand if we are being honest. If you’re anything like me you’ll be wishing death upon everyone who hurt them. (I SMITE THEM ALL!!) You’ll be on the edge of your seat, reading all night and the racing back to your book the second you get a chance. Dying to know what happens next because let me tell you, Audrey Carlan is the PLOT TWIST QUEEN! Cliffhangers anyone? She serves them regularly! So trust me, if you start this book and love it, BE PREPARED AND BUY ALL THE BOOKS (you can thank the straight up feral me that was at 6 am downloading everything I could find on Kindle Vella like my life depended on it!) You won’t regret it, I promise!

To be clear this book specifically is book one/volume one of this series/season one and the other 3 books publishing same day are the full completion of this season/series of stories. They are currently also available on Kindle Vella BUT the books have TONS of extra content and important info so don’t miss out because you’ll be scrambling for any piece of content if you’re anything like me!

I loved this book and ALL its characters. My first series with so many but very easy to follow along and I really like the different aspects of each character

This was fantastic! I absolutely loved the premise for this book. I am sure glad it is an audiobook because reading it in episodes would not be for me!

Fascinating!

This story has so many characters and POVs that it is a bit overwhelming at first. Hang in there! I’ve already gotten attached to several of the characters and I’m interested to know what happens next. Enough that I purchased the next 3 audiobooks.

Amazing audible quality and performance

I highly recommend this book. I listen to it in audible and the quality was outstanding, the narrators did an amazing job. The story itself was really good, we have 4 girls that decide to auction themselves for money. We get to dive in into each of their life’s to better understand why they are making these choices and while we are trying to understand them we get to connect with each one of them. They’re all unique and we get to see them fall in love or start to like the guy that buys them. I’m definitely getting the second audible.
