This is a great book! I can’t wait for the next book. The narration is so well done!! Great storyline!

Scarlet Secrets!

This is the first part in the "Yegorov Bratva" duet about Erin and Demyan. This one ends with one doozie of a cliffhanger. Erin and Demyan meet by chance when he finds her in his bath tub. This is the start of a fun and passionate night. Then he is gone. Several years later he sees her again at the wedding of his sister and her college friend. Then he finds out he has a child and goes alpha and is cruel. This is an intriguing read with dark elements, suspense, danger, murder, passion, secrets, enemies and much more. I cannot wait to read "Scarlet Sins" to see how their story develops.

Dramatic Action and Spicy Hot Connection

Scarlet Secrets is filled with drama, darkness, suspense, action, and spicy hotness. Erin is a bit naive and stubborn AF, a dedicated mother and an emotional wreck, clever, strong, and genuinely good. She is definitely Demyan’s match in every way. Demyan is filled with darkness, conditioned from a young age by a ruthless father, and yet he has grown into a loyal and brilliant leader who is learning to recognize and accept powerfully positive emotions. Watching him unravel for and with Erin is dynamic and so intense. Their connection is electric from the get go. His secrets and her stubborn refusal to see with eyes wide open make for an explosive mix of trouble that builds and builds all the way to the cliff-hanger ending.

The narrators are fabulous at bringing this story to audio life. Demyan’s darkness is powerfully portrayed in equal measure with his bright and soft moments through inflection, tone, volume, and passionate delivery. Erin’s sweetness, sass, and stubbornness are brilliantly balanced as well. I loved this audiobook and cannot wait for the second half of the duet to be released in audio!!!

Gripping Mafia Romance

Wow! This audiobook is so freaking good. The narrators did an amazing job that really roped me in. I had to listen to this in one sitting. Erin meets Demyan and they have an amazing one night stand. 3 years later they run into each other again and all chaos breaks loose. The chemistry is still there and even with all the lies and betrayal these two forge a bond. So much mafia business is going on in the background and it threatens their fragile union. This book is full of non stop mafia action, emotional turmoil and lots of steam. Unfortunately it ends with a nail biting cliffhanger... I highly recommend this 5 star book.

Wow!!!

This is my new favorite couple from Kira Cole. The plot and characters were well developed and the narrators did an amazing job bringing them to life. The story had me experiencing all kinds of emotions from excited, worried, and anxious. And I loved the ending in the second book!!!

Great audiobook

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook this is got a great storyline very well written this author did a great job with this story this is a great audiobook to own.

I Enjoyed It

I really enjoyed this book. I liked both Erin and Demyan. The chemistry between them sizzled. When it comes to bratva, nothing is simple or easy. This is my first book from this author and I look forward to finishing their story in Scarlet Sins. It sounds exciting and I can't wait to delve in.

I thought Maeve York and James Cassidy did a great job bringing their characters to life. It was such a treat to listen to a duet instead of dual narration. This is my first time listening to both. A small nitpick- I thought the volume of his recordings could have been just a touch louder to match hers.

Erin and Demyan

I love mafia romance books, and this book did not disappoint. It was really good but unfortunately ends on a cliffhanger. After Erin has a one-night stand with Demyan without getting any names, they don't not see each other for a few years, during which time Erin was pregnant by him and decides to keep the baby. Once they reconnect at a wedding, Demyan could be a real b@stard, especially because he did not trust Erin and thought she was a plant. He didn't know that what she was hiding was his child. Maeve York and James Cassidy did a great job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I really enjoyed the narration of this book from both the male and female narrator. They really convey the story to the next level, and the duet aspect of this book was spectacular! I can really feel that each character is different just based on the dictation in their voice. That can be important to me when I listen to a book, I love when it pays out like a movie/show in my head... lol 😂 I can say I am somewhat biased to audiobooks and tend to favor them more than physically reading. (It is just a little more convenient for my lifestyle)
This book follows Erin and Demyan; they meet at a bar, they have a one-night stand, and she falls pregnant…. I know stereotypical, BUT it was everything but that! *Please keep in mind that this book ends on a cliffhanger, which is resolved in Scarlet Sins*
I thought this was going to be a cheesy storyline about strong mafia men, and a fragile innocent woman... and it was not! Baabbbbyy this book had PLOT!!! I really did like the FMC Erin and felt for her in her need to protect her son. Now Demyan in the other hand there were times I did not like him (just being honest🤷‍♀️) BUT let us be honest again… when do we like the MMC 100% of the time in a dark romance... okay maybe just me 👀😅 As for the spicy level in this book... it is there!! Demyan has a dirty little mouth on him... That was one if his redeeming factors for me. 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️
