Perfection!

I absolutely love Karla Sorensen's books! I loved this storyline, and the characters are easy to like! We get a sports, opposites attract, old friends to lovers trope that was charming and warm-hearted. There were times my heart squeezed, I laughed, smiled, and I teared up too! Loved their bantering. A wonderful read! Now I'm going to listen to it!

I have now listened to the audiobook, and it was perfection. I loved the narrators. Definitely favorites of mine. I could listen to them all day. Their voices are so smooth. They gave an emotional performance that had this audiobook rolling like a movie in my head. I wasn't ready ready for it to end.

Wonderful story and narration!

I have no idea how narrators are chosen but these 2 were perfect. The story was much more complex than what the blurb would indicate. A solid 5 stars from me. Highly Recommend!

Gosh. What to even say. The love between Griffin && Ruby is perfect. I loved this audio!

Griffin gets “grounded” back in his hometown and runs into Ruby. Unfortunately for Ruby, it just so happens she was scheduled to meet someone else when Griffin sits down with her. To her absolute horror she reveals her true reason for being there and thinking he was someone else.

Their meeting may have been awkward and humiliating at first for Ruby, but it turns out to be just what she needed.

I laughed. I cried. I fell in love with these characters. && I can’t wait to read more of the Kings 💕

I absolutely loved Ruby and Griffin! Their journey to a happily ever after was such a joy to read. The story was so well written that I couldn’t help but fall in love with both of them!💙💜

Lovely read. Likable characters. I enjoyed their initial meeting and the way their relationship grew. Griffin is such a sweetheart.

Swoony Dual Narration

Swoon! Lessons in Heartbreak by Karla Sorensen was a heartfelt, emotional romance with the perfect mix of sports and small town. I couldn’t get enough of Ruby and Griffin’s opposites attract/ lessons in love romance that had me clenching my heart at how perfect these two simply were for each other. This is book one in Karla’s The King’s series, and I’m already ready for more.

Samantha Brentmoor and Aiden Snow perform this audiobook in dual narration. The friends to lovers chemistry these two narrators conveyed between Ruby and Griffin had me kicking my feet and blushing the entire time. Samantha added a soft vulnerability in her voice to showcase Ruby’s awkward timidity. At the same time, Samantha presented a budding confidence in tone for Ruby’s new found strengths and desires. Aiden’s deep masculine timbre exuded all of Griffin’s experienced and charismatic qualities that literally made this man irresistible.

Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a small town romance with a hot hunky football star, shy delicate librarian, a loveable dog named bruiser, childhood neighbors, lessons in spice, he shops for her, Jane Austen references, witty banter, intimate conversations, secrets revealed, slow burn spice, supportive friends, love declarations, and a HEA that will warm your heart, then you will love Ruby and Griffin’s story. I always look forward to more from Karla Sorensen.

Really like this author but

I’ve liked her Washington wolves and Wilder Family series better. But a good solid 4 stars and narrators are good.
