SO FUN!

Maximillian Vaughn is a 30-year-old hot shot patent law attorney who's looking for nothing but a good time when it comes to women. When he gets to Captain's to have a drink with his best friend, all he sees is Marnie Long, the stunning older redhead sitting there having a drink. As it turns out, Marnie's there with her friends after just figuring out that her silver fox boyfriend is actually married. She's there for fun. She doesn't want anything else than a hot, steamy one night stand and Max is so down to volunteer as tribute. They burn the sheets down, but to their utter shock, they also hit it off. So plans are made for breakfast later and then dinner sometime during the week. But, for reasons unbeknownst to Max, and that shocked the bejesus out of her, Marnie flees his apartment like a bat out of hell. A year goes by and Max still can't figure out what went wrong and is trying to convince himself that he didn't want anything longer than a one night stand anyway. Until they meet again at a  birthday party and they can't get their hands off each other... again! But the Universe is a prankster and they'll soon find out that six degrees of separation are too many sometimes. Oy! Fate? They'll soon find out.

OMG, I love Lauren Rowe's books and this one is quintessential Lauren Rowe! Marnie is a 40-year-old single mom to the adorable Ripley. She's a chef and she's trying to be the best mom, "getting her life together" after globe-trotting and bed-hopping. Max is the career driven lawyer, who was hurt in the past and whose heart is so guarded he can't recognize the feelings he's having are real. I won't get into the details of how things develop between them because gasping with the revelations is half the fun, but it's sweet, it's scorchingly hot and hilarious! Plus all the feels. "Awww" kinda feels. 

LOVED IT. 

The narrator duo for this is unbeatable! Andi is the queen of narration and Jacob as an arrogant, sexy, cocky hunky comittmentphobe is everything!

Beautiful Love Story with Humor

I love Lauren's books and this one was one of her best! The love story is beautiful, realistic, funny, extra steamy, and has great characters! I'll definitely be re-listening to it in the future. Audio performance was terrific!

Lauren for the win; again!

Lauren Rowe for the win; again. I love getting sucked in completely to the story and the characters and I cannot wait to read the stories of the other friends. This one has me stopping and wanting to message Lauren to say OH MY GAWD this is sooooo stinking good. Please don’t pass this one up. Andi and Jacob are; as usual, epic as Maxi-Millie and Marni. I loved every second.
