🩷💕 A TRULY WONDERFUL LISTEN 💕🩷

I’ve just finished this wonderfully entertaining sweet listen as a one night sexcapade slowly turns into forever love for single Mom Marnie and career focussed “never going to happen” Max. Marnie is ten years older than thirty yo Max and they’ve both enjoyed a past of no strings hook-ups.. but, after the chemistry and combustion of theirs, the memories of their one night are going to stay with both of them. A year later, when Fate brings them a second chance with a fake engagement with benefits, they seal their destinies together forever. However, Marnie wants to settle down and Max is still blinded by chasing his career dreams. Their delicious journey has humor, charm, family, friends, sex, swoons, tenderness and so so much more. And a sweet little girl who’s longing for Max to be her Daddy. The narration of course was excellent by Andi and Jacob who fit the characters perfectly, brought out all the feels this talented author wrote and delivered five star performances as they brought the loveable cast and addictive chapters to life.

Worth a credit? Yes, it was an absolute joy to listen to.

What a wonderful book. I loved listening to this story. It has a great story line and characters. The narrators are wonderful and it has quite a few laugh out loud moments. Totally worth the credit.

Cutest Story Ever!

I absolutely loved the family dynamics in this story! I laughed out loud at times, & totally empathized with the broken hearts at others.

The love and sex scenes - erotic and beautiful!

The narrators were fantastic in making me feel as if I was in the story. Andi & Zachary “were” these characters - and their mastery of the supporting character voices was amazing. Zach Webber’s voice is divine.

I highly recommend this cute, sexy, listen.

Another great read.

This book is full of little nods to Lauren’s other books and her songs in some of those books. Every so often she would throw in a comment that would have a song title in it, like smitten and it would remind me of the book the song was in. She also uses some of the same locations as her other books. This is a very well written book. I have read all of her books and she never disappoints. I loved this second book in what appears to be a new series. Marnie and Max have explosive chemistry. Max is great with Marnie’s daughter Ripley.

I’ve listened to a lot of books in Audible, a lot of romance books. I have a handful of favorite authors and an even smaller selection of favorite narrators. I’ve listened to Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan before and they are at the top of my list, I’ve never read anything from Lauren Rowe before but I have to say that she now is at the very top of my list. This book is so beautifully written. Just enough of everything in just the right places at just the right time. Executed to perfection by Andi and Jacob as per usual. What a beautiful story with richness, joy, principle, humor and humanity. And let’s not forget the steam ladies! Just an amazing experience.
