Stupendous

Wow , love the twists and turns! The narration was so well done! I highly recommend this book

It was good but

The story was good but missing some plot holes which could have given this a 5 star. The VA were good. I did like how it addressed trauma and him helping her overcome it. Spice was appropriate nothing crazy. Definitely worth the chance of a listen

love the relationship and needs more plot.

I do like the relationship between Lena and Talon. They love and protect each other but I feel like there some holes in plot. but overall good story.

Great premise, great narrators, strange plot choices

You know when a character INSISTS on a path forward and can see no other way and YOU can see 18 different choices, that's at least 20 chapters of this book.

Normally I roll with it, especially bc it's usually a cheesy trope, but this is not that. This actually has a plot, fully developed characters and I was fine with the show burn, BUT then the MMC set forward on a dogged path that only he knew why and as a result the FMC suffered real harm. It was really upsetting to watch the FMC suffer and the big decision and reveal meant nothing and had no point and even he regretted it. It was of course all immediately forgiven and then the spice went through the roof and got really psychologically.... challenging.

This is one of my favorite male narrators and I still finished it, but lost potential from the author who had lots of great ingredients, but chose to use them strangely.
