Excellent follow up
Excellent follow up to the last novel, the duo dynamic really takes off here. It’s sad and beautiful, narrated wonderfully. It’s great to listen to and you really just want to know what’s next.

Very solid PI procedural
This is a very procedural mystery, ie you know basically what happened early on and the later developments are just nailing down details. But the writing and characters are good enough that I really enjoyed it. Plus the action is really compelling.

EXCEPTIONAL
The author has presented harsh reality in an exceptionally engaging format that is impossible to put down. I find myself craving a sequel while feeling overwhelmed
and exhausted by the ugly evilness depicted in this haunting novel. The narration was also spot on so that I felt myself to be a participant in the storyline.

Louisa Luna Can REALLY Write
I came across this series by accident, and what a treasure it is. I have binged listened to books 1 & 2 and about to start book 3. After that I eagerly await book 4's release in June.
I totally dig Alice Vega and Max Kaplan.
Luna combines action, mystery, grit and rawness along with a tender character development. Give this series a listen. It is outstanding.

Better than the first.
Always on the lookout for good mystery series to keep me entertained on drives or while exercising. The Alice Vega series seems really promising. I hope there are more in the future.

Vega and Kap are the best
I love how they work together and how Vega kicks as with the bolt cutters. I would love to hear more about Nell. Kaps daughter. And maybe bring Missy back into Kaplan’s life.
