Publisher's summary

When Cassidy begins painting her visions, she has no idea that she actually opens a door to the past. And behind that door are ghosts, ghosts that want to be seen and remembered. As the rookie member of the Gulf Coast Paranormal investigation team, Cassidy is eager to prove she has the skills required to make the cut, but will her eagerness to fit in place the team in supernatural danger?

When a new client hires GCP to settle the spirits in the Crescent Theater, Midas, Sierra, Joshua, and Cassidy are put to the test. Will a century-old tragedy force the new owner to shutter the doors forever?

Fun story

Loved this second story. Not overly fond of the female narrator. :). But that is just me. I usually like just one narrator - and the female is so often overly dramatic it kind of grates on my nerves. But overall. The story has good characters.

like series but...

story seemed like a good listen for a free book. I would probably continue just to hear the male narrator but the female narrator ruins it, way too whiny.

Series is getting better

I very much enjoyed book 1 in this series, and book 2 was even better. Can't wait for the rest of the series. M. L. Bullock has done a great job with this series and she found 2 awesome narrators in Sean Crisden and Bailey Carr. They really make this series even better.

Cassidy is still painting, this time she is painting for a friend of hers. They wanted a mural on their office wall. As Cassidy is painting the mural a different picture emerges. This happens the same day only earlier then the team is called in to a meeting for a new case. This starts the GCP on the case to settle the spirits in the Crescent Theater.

meh…

I’m used to super scary books like Ghost Story by Peter Straub and the Haunted series by Lee Mountford. This was more YA fiction. The male narrator was good when “playing a part,” but his general narration was to fast and seemingly slurred. The female narrator grated my nerves, sounding like a whiny 12yo. The story itself was okay. It left a hole in the plot as to why the brother was killed…what was the troubled history? What was in the documents? Oh well, on to the next listen.
