Publisher's summary

When Silicon Valley entrepreneur Rachel Zelinsky meets reclusive genius Theo Moore, she finds him strangely compelling. Theo is both arrogant and socially awkward, but he has an aura of power that speaks to Rachel's carefully-hidden submissive side. Disturbed and aroused, she tries to focus on her original objective -- a deal to incorporate his Artificial Intelligence software into her company's popular virtual world. Rachel's not a woman that lets pleasure interfere with business, but for some reason, she can't resist Theo's geeky appeal.

Theo Moore can't be bought. His past battles with poverty make him deeply suspicious of the billionaire CEO. Still, with her voluptuous curves and brilliant mind, Rachel embodies his ultimate sexual fantasy. Too bad his knowledge about sex derives from extensive research and a stash of kinky porn rather than real-world experience.

That doesn't bother Rachel, however. In his bed - in his arms - in his bonds - she discovers the bliss of total surrender. Rachel may be Theo's first lover, but Theo is Rachel's first true Master - and the first man to truly touch her heart. It seems that love may harmonize their differing goals and values, until Rachel's unwitting violation of Theo's trust threatens to tear them apart forever.

Exciting Story!

This BDSM story has a different twist to it! It was quite refreshing to listen to another side of it. The narrator did a great job. Loved it!

Horrible narrator

There were some really good concepts in this book... the change of female power in everyday life and having the male with anxiety and aspergers was definitely a change from most books, however, on the beginning of the book, I was completely turned off with how out of tune she was to him and how she pushed him... and the narrator made it worse... as the story progressed, I thoroughly enjoyed the interactions in the vanilla world that they had. The BDSM turn turned me off as he just didn’t have the Dom appeal and it made her strength seem needy.

this book seems to be well written. the narrator can hold your attention. and the storyline is entertaining. not my usual Forte of books so I personally had trouble finishing it but if you like this type of storyline it could be the one for you why not give it a shot.

Sweet, sexy, and surprising!

Overall: 4 Crazy Ass Stars!!!
Performance: 3.5 Stars
Story: 4 Stars

I really enjoyed it. It was so different from the usual storyline out there in this troupe of virgin/billionaire, or in this case, gazillionaire. I was pleasantly surprised. That's not an easy feat when you read as much as I do.
The narration was okay for me. I would have preferred an actual male narrator for the male POV. I found it a little distracting each time the POV changed. However, I did appreciate the voice changes for the characters.
Lisabet Sarai is a new-to-me author and, overall, I enjoyed her writing. I did have issues with some of the lingo used in the story. I found words like "jism" and "sphincter" to be not so sexy. They kind of ruined the mood so to speak and were very distracting to the scene.
Overall, I give this a solid 4 stars. It was sexy, steamy, sweet and I loved how the roles were reversed. The role reversal was my favorite thing because of how surprising it was to me.

It was almost one of my favorites.

I really enjoyed the way Lisabet Sarai took the Alpha/Bdsm genre and twisted it; Rachel being the high-powered "gazillionaire" and Theo the socially awkward virgin. But during sexy times, Theo broke out and Rachel really pushing the "top from the bottom". I loved it. I loved that she let him unleash that side of himself and even while she was submitting to him, she was still helping him and pushing him to be more. I liked how Lisabet wove computer worlds into the story. It was fun to listen to characters who were a bit nerdy and off the beaten path. Coders united!

**SPOILER**
Then came Chapter 22. Oh how I hated Chapter 22. It completely ruined Theo for me. I kept waiting and listening for redemption. But, no matter what he did after that, he was done for me. It was like with a slap in the face, the story turned back into what this trope has always been: A dominant man who is an Alpha always.. He lost that sweet man vibe for me. It broke my heart, because I really really loved him. I wish I could give up to Chapter 22 5 stars, and after 3 stars.
**END SPOILER**

I like Lisabet's writing, and I'm looking forward to checking out her other books! I hate that I couldn't say that I loved the book 100%. The writing and "story" were great (even after my cut point), but with the big change, it just drew a line for me. Some people may like the way it played out. Everybody but me may like the way it played out. I'm sure I'm the odd one out, but it is what it is.

I think Erin Marsh did a great job narrating the story. At some parts, I wished that there had been a male voice along with hers, but for the most part, having her do all it was good. I really felt what Rachel and Theo were feeling. This was the first thing I've listened to narrated by her, and was not disappointed

Switching it up!

The characters are reversed from the norm but very realistic to today's life. The narrator did a great job pulling me in and making sure the voices where different.

Not Cliche

One of the most surprising things about the book is that it's the woman who has money and who is social. It's the guy who is awkward and not rich. I loved it! I loved the whole story. I wish the narrator portrayed the guy's voice better though because it mostly sounded bland to me.

Nice Twist on the Billionaire trope but...

The beginning of this story was pretty off putting. When my couple is on paper together I want to see them actually like each other. The guy was not are socially polished but confident and I loved that. He admits to be attracted to her in his mind in his point of view chapters. You even have a long drawn out scene of him pleasuring himself to a fantasy he has of her and its pretty obvious he likes her. But from the woman's point of view all she does is say how much she doesn't like him and he weird and probably special needs or something but then boom she says even though he is their weirdo i dont like I am going to force myself into his life and make him hang out with me. So I was not rooting for their love because that left a bad taste in my mouth with the Female Main Character. And it made the plot a tiny bit unbelievable. I wouldn't force someone by my side when i didn't like them. I wish the author would have found a better adhesive or made it make sense as to why she wanted to be around him. I dont know maybe I am crazy but there has to be mutual attraction. If you can get passed that weird part in the story then its a well written read.

The Gazillionaire and the Virgin

I loved this story. The way the character's love bloomed was so sweet. Theo is a bit awkward but you learn to love him. Definitely highly recommended.
