complicated. SPOILERS

it is very strange to enjoy a book that contains actions I don't like (drug use and abuse, nonconsensual drug use, nonconsensual kissing I think for the purpose of drugging someone??), seriously flawed characters I didn't like and who made my skin crawl, other characters I wanted to slap, and a fairly disturbing story.
I am still asking myself how at the end of the book I feel I must give the book 4.5-5 stars.
didn't I enjoy the story, not particularly, but it was compelling.
I did want to know what was going to happen. I guessed wrong when it comes to the ending. I didn't stop listening.
as you can tell I'm still puzzled.
and I'm heading off to listen to book 2.
because I want to know what happens next.

Decent story and interesting characters. I'm most definitely curious about the rest of the story.

The Foxhole Court is very good!

I liked the narrator's voice it's clear and nice. I love this book and It is great to have and audiobook since I don't have time to read too often! Thanks for this audiobook!

The narrator grew on me

On the first listen, the narrator bugged me a lot, but by the end of the series and relistening to the first book, I'd gotten used to him.

reread august 2018 (my fourth read of this book)
can't believe i read this book again, but the audiobook just coming out it's totally justified! right??

wow man i loved it so much more then i thought i would! at first, i didn't like the narration (just different than i thought it would be) but i got used to it and they did a good job with it overall. i can't wait until the other books come out on audio!

welcome home Neil

this is the first book in one of my favorite trilogies ever. while I had already read the books (more than once) I decided to listen to the audio this time.

there were ups and downs in the performance, but it was my favorite story, so ill allow it. the guy needs to work on his female voices and on his grammar. he had turned "no. what?" into "nowhat" and it was weird sounding. im overly analytical anyway haha ON TO BOOK 2

great, but I wish was longer

too short! there should have been an entire act or two more! all that tension , I hope the next book pays it off
