I never thought I'd go to college a virgin, but unless something changes—and fast—that's what's going to happen.
In comes Harden Hart, my all-American boy-next-door best friend with an offer to help in a way I'd never imagined.
The boy, who turned everything he touched to gold, had a filthy side to him I'd never seen. Oh, and did I mention he's straight?
We could keep this fun, but we had to hide it from both our fathers. We could smile for the cameras, focus on winning the state swimming championship and maintain Harden's image. Easy enough, right?
Only Harden didn't want to hide. His addiction to our not-so-private hook-ups put everything at risk with his father's planned presidential run, and I risked losing my best friend if anyone found out.
But the biggest risk of all: the risk of breaking my own heart by falling for someone who was never mine to begin with.
Maybe love just isn't in the equation.

Reed Ellis is absolutely gorgeous but a total newbie to camming, a virtual nobody in my world. I should have just deleted his message request for a steamy on-camera collaboration. Reed Ellis is absolutely gorgeous but a total newbie to camming, a virtual nobody in my world. I should have just deleted his message request for a steamy on-camera collaboration. Not everyone is cut out to be a camboy. But there's just something about him I couldn't resist. He's timid and inexperienced, quiet and closed off, but his fumbling first times play out scorching hot for the cameras, and our videos together are an instant success. I know I should just ride this out, sit back and watch the money roll in, and then move on.

Really good listen. 4.5 ⭐️'s
Really enjoyed the characters and story. Love that the turmoil (which was quite tame) was outside of their relationship and it just made them stronger together. While I don't necessarily believe it deserves 5 ⭐️'s, I would say it's a solid 4.5.
Will probably listen again when I'm in a book slump.

Narrator did a good job
I think the narrator did a good job by using 2 different tones in the book to make each character stand out. I overall liked the book, wish there was a little more angst/debate over getting together initially. Vance’s character was did overthink things in a whiny/annoying way but I did like the book.

Very predictable, just like a good romance novel should be.

Loved Harden so much but Vance was so frustrating ugh all he did was whine! Finally at the end of the book his character was becoming bearable . Good story though worth the listen.

Now, this is how you do Friends to Lovers.
The narrator knows what he's doing. You never have to wonder whos talking. He killed it. I want to listen to more books narrated by Alexander Amado. After this book, he became one of my favorites.
I loved this book. I mean I already knew I would considering that I read it 3x before the audiobook was released. This is a comfort read. A book that I run to when I can't find anything else to read.
The audiobook made the characters come to life which made the experience all the better. I can see myself listening to this book a lot throughout the years.
I am so excited for the next book in the series to drop.
