Powerful story about friendship and the meaning of things

From the brilliant mind of J.K. Rowling, the fantastic author who brought us the magical Harry Potter Saga comes another powerful story about the meaning of friendship!

When Jack loses his best friend, a plush toy pig, he has to travel to the Land of the Lost in order to find him. What follows is a captivating adventure that will delight and entertain kids, young adults, and grown-ups alike.

The audio production features a full cast of talented actors and narrators, plus music and sound effects that elevate and enrich the narrative experience.

I highly recommend this superb audiobook to everyone young at heart, but especially to families looking for a short story that they can listen to together during the winter holidays.

I can definitely see this becoming a Christmas classic in a few years, as nobody can write about children and friendship better than J. K. Rowling.

What an experience!

If you are a fan of the Phantom Tollbooth, you will appreciate the metaphors and puns in this story. With a full cast and sound effects, it is more like a radio drama than a regular audiobook. I enjoyed listening to it in the car with my 11-year-old. Although the climax/ending is a bit frightening with the added sound effects, overall it is great for kids. There is also a great message about taking care of what we have, keeping and repairing things instead of tossing them. I highly recommend this title.

JK Rowling hit again

We listened to this and it is a wonderful story. Has a sad part but really good at explaining to pre-teen that things good and bad happen in life but they too can be overcome. Good Job. Another hit at our house

I will be forever haunted by The Loser's scream

What a wonderful Christmas story about love, sacrifice, and forgiveness. The story's twists and turns are unpredictable and a true adventure! I will be definitely be adding this book to my yearly Christmas reads.
However, I am 40+ years old and the scream of The Loser scared me to death- and I've worked in public education, so you know I'm not easily scared.

Very Entertaining

My kids and I listened to this in the car on a long road trip. It was the quietest trip I have ever taken, because they were so absorbed into the story they didn't have time to argue. On top of that, it is just a very engaging story and exciting to listen to.
