The narration was excellent

I rarely leave reviews but tried multiple times to listen to the original audiobook for this series and could not despite wanting to read this book so badly. I waited for this GA to release before trying again, and it did not disappoint. The narration and the story are excellent and fun. It's just always annoying that only half the book releases at a time and I have to wait months for the rest.

Only the BEST!

First off, I Love this series. Amber V Nicole's Gods and Monsters series is an all encompassing adventure. This Graphic Audio version was top notch! I highly recommend. The voice actors killed it, they did the characters justice. The sound effects were perfect,- heartbeats and all.

Gabriel Michael!!!

Gabriel Michael is such a talented voice actor. He made Xaden Riorson come to life for me, and now he’s Samkiel. Basically making him the soundtrack for my two favorite fictional men. Lucky us! The entire Gods and Monsters series has become a favorite of mine (on par with Empyrean, Throne of Glass, etc). Descriptive world building, interesting magic and powers across a broad array of beings - mortal and not - monsters, vampires, witches, Gods, death, and my favorite Reggie who will remind ACOTAR fans of our tea sipping bestie the Suriel. I can’t wait for the next book in the series, and definitely the 2nd part of Book of Azrael in Graphic Audio.

Just amazing!!

New to this series, i always do the audiable version and almost put down this book as the regular version was narrated so poorly, couldn’t stand the voice. Until i found this one and OMG I couldn’t believe what a huge difference it makes when the narrator touches you, this version is just fantastic, every character just as i imagine ❤️❤️ why do we have to wait months for the next part of the book?? That is the downfall of this type of books. But overall a 10

The Book of Azrael ft. Severe Swallowing

I’ve had the book of Azrael on my TBR list for a long time, but I’ve never taken the plunge. I am a huge fan of the graphic audio so I decided to give it a try. I cannot recommend this graphic audio enough.

I will say, however, that that swallowing sounds need to be discontinued immediately. I know that Azrael was eating fruit, but why did he have to sound like that? Am I the only one that feels this way? it felt so unserious and it took me out of the world immediately.

Anyway, I’m off to continue reading the rest of the book on Kindle. 🫡

I Need Part Two Now!

I enjoyed how morally grey the FMC, Dianna, was and how much she can't stand Samkiel, aka Liam. This story starts as a true enemies-to-lovers. I'm just upset this is part one of two, and the second part doesn't come out until November!

One of my top fav series!

I love everything about the series. It’s one of my favorites. I absolutely could not wait to hear the graphic audio version however, I am not a fan Sams voice actor. It just seems like he’s trying too hard to speak and it’s annoying to listen to. I also envisioned him having a deeper voice, but whatever. Other than that, it’s fantastic.

Great audio

Absolutely love this series. The original audio was great but GA always does a fantastic job! The only thing was the different pronunciation of some words compared to the original. Still a great listen. Highly recommend

Perfect, immersive Graphic Audio experience!

Graphic Audio is seriously the best way to experience audiobooks. The casting, narration and sound effects was so well done I literally could not stop listening. I followed along with the actual book for most of it and found that Graphic Audio did a great job of following the book closely, so you're not losing anything pertinent to the story.
I haven't found a story that has gripped me like this one has in a long time. This got me out of my reading slump, I'll definitely be continuing this series! I highly recommend this if you like urban fantasy with enemies to lovers, and a strong FMC.
