Titus Welliver has really stepped in it!

This is my third time reading/listening to the first Harry Bosch novel. It's amazing to think that this is Michael Connelly's first. It is superb in every way. However, I think he has created a problem with this special edition of THE BLACK ECHO. Unfortunately, as good as the early efforts with Dick Hill, et al, were, Welliver is just going to have to record all the rest of the novels now. At least my suggestion will make him a few bucks over the next couple of years. But to have his narration as the authoritative and definitive Bosch would be fantastic.

Let's do this!

Gripping with EXCELLENT narration

Great story line and the best Bosch narration. Titus is KING of narration. Inspired me to reread and listen to the entire series again.

The characters

The authenticity of the characters, as performed by Titus Welliver, drew me in immediately. And the storyline seemed to flow effortlessly all through the book. I have not watched the television series and undoubtedly I will at some point. But I want to immerse myself in several more books in the series before I treat myself to the television series. I believe I have just discovered my new passion in audible listening. Thanks to all who contributed to this book. It truly was a most satisfying experience!
