Enter Harry Bosch

As series introductions go, this one is first rate. I came to this book series through the tv show and, while the first book, this book, was written over two decades ago, the character rings through loud and clear. Titus Welliver does a great job building on a great story. While I wish the tv show would not end this season, we will still have Bosch stories to listen to! Enjoy!

Wow, I purchased this book edition and had not had a chance to listen to it. I am so impressed by this recording. I cannot tell you how great it is. Narrator Titus Weaver has really gotten into Audible narration on this book. The story is book one and I own it by the original narrator, Dick Hill, and no way Was that anywhere as good as this because of course we watch the Harry Bosch series on Netflix or Amazon one of those. The interview with Michael Connolly and Titus Weller at the end is just terrific. They talk about a lot of inside things to writing the books and playing the part.

Titus Welliver is Harry Bosch!

Mr. Welliver brings a fresh and authentic voice to Harry Bosch. I first read ``The Black Echo'' around 1994 and have been hooked to the series since then. I've read and listened to the Bosch books over the years (and watched the Amazon series) and each time I listened/reread a book, I'm surprised by the plot details I've missed. Mr. Welliver brings a clarity and force to his narration that other narrators have missed. I just finished ``Black Echo'' and hope that more Bosch audible books are reissued with Titus as the narrator. Thanks to Audible, Titus Welliver and Michael Connelly for this excellent reissue.

Even if you have the original recording, this Special Edition of "The Black Echo" is a must have in your collection. Thanks to Titus Welliver's superb performance, I heard things that I hadn't before during several listenings of the first recording. You'll be happy you did.
