Finding the Lost City of..

This is a fun adventure where a young boy has some sort of tattoo, but it's actual a map to a lost world. A small group of people go on an adventure, and it's non-stop fun from there. I wish it didn't move around the characters so much so we could get deeper into each individual, but otherwise, a fun, clean adventure that promises to be the beginning of a fantastic series. The narration was well done as well.

Very enjoyable

I listen to audio books on my commute every day. I know a book is good when I look forward to the drive every day. This was one of them.
This is a book appropriate for all ages. Sweet, entertaining, funny and clever.

A journey through Lentari with Dwarves and a Dragon!

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. I have read all of Jeffrey M. Poole’s novels and the Lentari stories are up in my all time favourites. Originally, Mr. Poole published the Bakkian Prophecy and that is where I was introduced to this magical realm. Following the original trilogy, The Lost City became the first of 6 more stories based on Lentari and the characters introduced there. However, one does not need to read the trilogy first to enjoy this story, but it does give one another level of understanding. I was intrigued how Poole pulled secondary characters from the original trilogy and made them main characters in this tale. Fantastic!

Lost City focuses on the Dwarf community in Lentari, but other residents make appearances or are alluded to. Again, there is enough of an explanation, new readers are not at a loss. This book is a mystery, yet very much a Fantasy. If you enjoy Fantasy books, filled with magic and myth, this book is for you ... this series is for you. I honestly cannot recommend Poole’s Lentari Tales enough. Each time I get to read a new one - or revisit a previous one - it is like meeting up with good friends you haven’t seen in a while.

It was a treat to listen to the story, to hear it performed. It made the book come alive a bit more. It was interesting to hear how the narrator interpreted the characters. Bridger Conklin did a great job. It was well worth the credit spent. I would really like to listen to other stories from this series.

Good story!

I have enjoyed this book, first in a new series featuring Lentari. I had previously read his other series, The Bakkian Chronicles, and loved it, so wanted to immerse myself again in that world.

This was a great follow-up story. It follows one of the dwarf clans and only briefly references humans, as they go on a quest. I loved hearing the audiobook while I crocheted. Made the characters come alive.

Good story!
