The heat is on, and a new threat to humanity has risen....
Nick has his driver's license and he's not afraid to use it. But turning 16 isn't what he thought it would be. While other boys his age are worried about prom dates and applying for college, Nick is neck deep in enemies out to stop him from living another day. No longer sure if he can trust anyone, his only ally seems to be the one person he's been told will ultimately kill him. But life spent serving the undead is anything except ordinary. And those out to get him have summoned an ancient force so powerful even the gods fear it.
As Nick learns to command and control the elements, the one he must master in order to combat his latest foe is the one most likely to destroy him. As the old proverb goes, fire knows nothing of mercy, and if Nick is to survive this latest round, he will have to sacrifice a part of himself. However, the best sacrifice is seldom the sanest move. Sometimes it's the one that leaves your enemies confused.
And sometimes, you have to trust your enemy to save your friends. But what do you do when that enemy is you?
What made the experience of listening to Inferno the most enjoyable?
First and foremost, the stories about Nick are extremely entertaining...everything from demon rage to fumbling and embarrassed, Nick takes us all (readers) to places we've been and can relate to.
Second, please don't lose Holter Graham. He brings all of the dark hunter/Nick books to true life. It's amazing to realize after hearing the book that Holter never misses a beat, or voice even when switching from Nick's mom to Nick to Ash...what a talent!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Well, Ash is my first place character because he tries to mentor Nick through very trying circumstances without giving too much away about why he knew what he was talking about. Nick is smart enough to listen and remember.
What about Holter Graham’s performance did you like?
Holter Graham's interpretation and voice. He renders power, awe, and pure embarrassment so realistically you all but feel a part of the scene being read. He is the perfect choice to read these books of Kenyon's.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Nick is back...badder than ever!
Any additional comments?
The only other thing to add is "Wow". Excellent book, characters are growing and there are always fresh plots...don't know how Sherrilyn Kenyon does it but I'm sure glad she does!

This is another hit although the last 5 minutes at the ending was weird and I didn't like it. I love Sherrilyn Kenyon's stuff and Holter Graham is awesome. Sherrilyn truly has a way of writing that makes you want to be a better person. Nick is such a wonderful character, all of her characters are. Recommended to read in order after the Dark/Dream Hunter books which I love. The world Sherrilyn creates is so vivid and exciting, the stories pull me right in. There was some conflicting back stories from this book and the rest of her stories, but that does not deter from the enjoyment it gives. There were a couple of recording/editing issues with the sentence being cut off and repeat of some phrases although it wasn't bad.

Nick and Acheron go to the prom (not together, LOL), but you will get to see them both take dates to their first prom. A prom like no other.
Nick will learn how to use fire... yeah, not to be missed. Especially when Simi wants to help tutor him.
Bubba and Mark will be back, along with Bubba's mama.
Nick and Kody... that's a spoiler.
Nick and Acheron... another spoiler.
You'll also get an in depth look into Kyrian's world and past as he begins training Nick on how to protect himself.

What did you love best about Inferno?
everything but the ending
Any additional comments?
the ending of this book makes me almost not want to read the next book because he loses his powers and that was something i did not want to hear, since he just learned how to control them.

Would you consider the audio edition of Inferno to be better than the print version?
While I'm sure the printed version is excellent, the narration of Holter Graham adds to the story. His voices are fantastic and really bring the story to life. He does the female voices so well that I never notice that a male is voicing the parts.
What other book might you compare Inferno to and why?
This book is just a continuation of Infinity, Invincible, and Infamous. Each was better than the previous and Inferno is the best of the four. Nick is maturing but he still has problems with his powers. Being a teenager is difficult enough without the added pressure that he might one day destroy the world.
Have you listened to any of Holter Graham’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Holter Graham's performances are always flawless. He has narrated many Kenyon books and they are all wonderful.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Like many other listeners/readers, I think the epilogue is a little strange and frustrating. I'm looking forward to seeing how Sherrilyn Kenyon resolves this.
Any additional comments?
This is a YA book, but I have never felt that Kenyon writes down for her young adult audiences. This book series shows that it isn't necessary to have sex scenes to be an entertaining book. I do think this book should be read after the other three CON books. I believe it would be pretty confusing to jump into this book without first reading the other three.

Well DUH! Holter Graham is the best narrator that ever lived!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Nick....always feeling as if he has to save the world but knows how easy it would be to say F*** it all and give in just to get a little break from all the trials.
What about Holter Graham’s performance did you like?
He can bring a story to life were its like you are watching a movie rather then listening to a book.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes yes yes! And I did.
Any additional comments?
We get to see some old fav ppl and she introduces some new ones. There was love, betrayal, fights, and reunions! Everything you want in a book is in here.
Also had the best ending I have ever seen in a book. Sets the next book in the series up really well! I cant wait for the next book!!!

love it. Simi is my favorite one. I love the narration. such a good job
the twists and turns in this book are fast and blindsiding the things Nick has to overcome in this section are incredible. Great advice in some parts and just an all around amazing story. the way it's written and told will keep you wanting to listen to it over and over.
I haven't read any of Ms Kenyon's other series; however, I can tell you if you like young adult fantasy literature, IMHO, you will not be disappointed with this storyline.
the book itself was ok. he was a little whinny. but his mom pissed me off how can she be this great mom we've been reading about when she's always ready to believe he's in the wrong? as a mom it ticked me off. I did love the end with his dad!
