If I Could Give 0 Stars I Would

This book is utter garbage. I was able to get behind the first book in this series despite my hatred for the main male character, but this book just got incredibly worse. First off Xavier basically rapes Lola this entire book. She's constantly telling him no and then he forces himself on her. And the damn author makes her okay with it and makes her believe it is a form of love making. This is absolutely disgusting and basically keeps with our culture that says men have no control of themselves so we as women should allow them to force themselves on us and be okay with it. I was ready to get behind this book because last book ended where you get the impression Lola is changing Xavier for the better, but we are all wrong with that thinking. I refuse to continue further with this trash novel (psh... novel... ha) series.

Sexy, Fun Listen

Not my favorite books I've listen to but I made it through, I didn't like that the narrator kept changing but the last narrator in the series was the best. Lola was a little weak for me. I like my heroines more strong-willed. There were a lot of times in the series I kept wanting her to just say no. It's not a bad series by any means just not one of my favorites.

"Tame him before the fairytale could begin.",

Who was your favorite character and why?

Every character brings their own uniqueness to the story.

Which scene was your favorite?

“Good evening.” I smiled at them both. I was not going to let that bitch know that she had affected me in any way. “Nice to see you again, Lola.” She smiled widely. “Been doing any trotting lately?” “No.” I smiled back at her. “I wore my stallion out, so he needed a break.”

Listened to the audiobook in one sitting.

Any additional comments?

Prologue by J.S Cooper
I always thought it would be romantic to be whisked away on a private jet by a handsome man. Only I never expected the man to be my professor. I never expected to be his fake fiancée. And I certainly never expected the games that he would play. Yes, being swept off of my feet is exciting and thrilling. However, it’s not everything I imagined it to be. I’ve always dreamt about meeting my Prince Charming. I just never realized I’d have to tame him before the fairytale could begin.

Blast it all to Hades and back. WTH??? I am slowly walking to the cliff now while reading the book. Now I have to stand at the edge of the rocky cliff with the ocean below pounding the rocks until the next bloody book. UGHHHHHH this isn't
happening. There were plenty of times I wanted to smack Xavier myself for being careless with Lola especially when he takes her to that club.
The plot was well written. Characters development throughout the story has the perfect dynamics. J.S. Cooper has an excellent way of writing her storyline.
I went to her website to read the preview to the next book in this series. I feel a tad better now.

FUN TIME TAMING MY PRINCE OR PRINCESS

J.S. Cooper did a better job writing this short story, which is book number two in this apparent series. It seems Prince Xavier's intentions are made to Lola as to why he wanted a fake fiancée. It was for the sex and entry into his BSDM club.

In today's moral compass, it seems silly to make Lola into a fake fiancée and Xavier see this before Lola.

I would like to see where J.S. Cooper is taking us ("down this rabbit hole"), in the third book. The story is a fast read, I did it in one sitting.

OH WOW!!

This book was everything, the sense of humor the main characters portrayed was good banter, and her innocence just brought it all together.

Good Book!

I wish I had listened to book 1 first and there is a cliffhanger at the end of the book. But it was still an enjoyable listen.

Steamy scenes!

Be aware there is a cliffhanger at the end! The story gives you various parts of personality of the main characters! Chemistry is electric between the two!

Green with Envy, Pt 2 of Trilogy

The theme in this book is definitely "green with envy" and jealousy. This is the second book in a trilogy. I haven't read or listened to the first but it is obvious in the first chapter that the story picks up midstream. Despite that, I was still able to enjoy it. Do note that it ends in a bit of a cliffhanger. I'm voluntarily leaving a review of a free copy of this audiobook.
