Enjoyable

Magnolia Allen has moved across country to start a new life in San Francisco. A new promising job has presented itself. But so does a new neighbor in her apartment building. Magnolia comes home to find a note from the new neighbor which sets of a series of notes between them. Magnolia learns the "rude guy in apartment 5" is someone from her past, none other then Jaggar Scott. Emotions and sparks start to fly. As a long ago incident comes to light.

Lauiie West did an amazing job with narrating and really nailed the emotions of the characters.

I felt the storyline dragged out a bit but it really did all come together in the end and the last chapter was by far the best and so worth the wait!

What a great book. Fun (and Hot) notes, and laugh out loud moments in this second chance romance. Well worth your time and money, this is the start of an amazing series.

Sometimes we just need a second chance, a do-over to get it right, and sometimes if we're lucky, we're given the opportunity. Magnolia and Jagger get that second chance in this funny and steamy romance.

Magnolia is a quick-witted young personal blogger starting a new job at a secret startup. Jagger is the cocky, salacious note leaving neighbor in apartment 5. Magnolia and Jagger's relationship starts through a series of notes left on each other's doors. These notes will have you laughing and blushing at the comments written. However, all is fun and games until the man behind the curtain is revealed. Magnolia will have to face her past to move forward. Jagger will have to be ready to convince her to stick around. The twists and turns will have you on the edge of your seat. You can't go wrong with this fun romance.

Don't waste your time and a credit

Unless you are a teenager who enjoys teenage like characters and immature behaviour, don't waste your money and time on this book.

The note writing was cute but the silly circumstances of their past and their current immature behaviour completely ruined any cuteness. Characters weren't developed at all either.

The narrator wasn't great either, especially her male voice

Waste of money

I used my credit money on this and what a waste!! Worst book I have ever gotten on Audible and I have over 500. The characters are unlikeable and immature. Narration is also terrible, her male voice sounds like an old man not a young flirt. I cannot believe this has good reviews.

This book and the title make you wanna read it, listen to it, GET THE BOOK people!!! This story was everything. I absolutely love this group of friends! They are sooo cute. Makes me want to go find all my people! I simply can not wait to get the rest! JS Cooper does NOT disappoint!

things I loved

This book had things I loved, and things that made me cringe. I landed on a four star rating because I couldn't put it down. It was predictable in areas, but messed with your mind in others LOL. Magnolia definitely had to love him, because some of the things he said and did (the cringe worthy actions were mostly in his past, not so much for some of the dumb and thoughtless things he said) are things no one would put up with unless she loved him. I'm sure I'll read this again, but now that I know their past, maybe I'll like it better the second time.

Spoilers: Magnolia dated his brother, but never loved him as more then a friend. It was always Jagger she loved. Jagger was pretending to date her sister so her sister could date an older guy. Through dumb misunderstandings they don't see each other or speak for 10 years until Jagger, who also has always loved Magnolia, found her and orchestrated an elaborate scheme to win her.

I wasn't sure at first but then this book grew on me and I became more invested. I've just finished and am off to find the next, I do hope theresanext...

Another superb book from J S Cooper

I really enjoyed the banter between Magnolia and Jagger, it made me chuckle out loud in places.

I missed that I hadn't read book 1 in The Inappropriate Bachelors Series 😱
But what a mixture of Humorous & old heartbreak between Magnolia & Jagger.
We hear about their past & what happened between them in their Youth.
But its the Man & Woman they've become in the 10 yrs they haven't seen or been together, but it's the shocking news that Magnolia has when she sees her new neighbour from N# 4....

Sweet second chance romance

I really enjoyed this book. The narrator made a great job of using a different voice for the characters. It was a good second chance story that was easy to listen too. I particularly enjoyed the messages between the main protagonists. I will happily listen to more audio books by both the author j s copper and the narrator.

Funny from start to finish

This is my first audio book but I've read the book version of this story previously. Written, and obviously read, in the first person point of view for both main characters it is a saucy tale of two second chancers. It is incredibly well written with great planning going into the banter like dialogue between the characters. It draws the reader through it chapter with a smile on their face.

The narrator has a great voice, which is easy to listen to. I did find that I needed to increase the pace slightly for me. My only slight concern was that she may have ended up with a throat issue by the end of the narration exercise from the way she spoke for Jagger, but I'm sure as a professional she's used to it!.

Over all I have nothing bad to say about this audible presentation of this book. I loved it as much as I loved the original book itself and recommend both the spoken word version and the book xx

Magnolia and Jagger!

Magnolia has recently moved to San Francisco for a fresh start which includes her position as a social media influencer at a new company. Things are not exactly turning out as she planned when she finds out that the company deals in credit rather than fashion but on the plus side her co-workers quickly became her friends. To top it all off she has been exchanging sarcastic letters with her new neighbor only to discover that they have a past that didn’t end well.

Jagger is a man with secrets who is looking for a fresh start as well. He is just as infuriating and just as sexy as he was all those years ago, but he is also determined to show her that he is not the man she remembers and just maybe once all is revealed they can overcome the past and have the future they always wanted.

This is a story about overcoming the mistakes of the past that is filled with humorous banter, hot chemistry and two flawed characters who couldn’t be more perfect for each other.

Funny and Hot!

I really enjoyed this story. Magnolia and Jagger’s relationship was so sweet and I loved that it stemmed from years ago. The notes that they sent one another were funny. Both characters were believable and lifelike. The narrator was very believable as Magnolia. I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend.

I adored this book! It was sweet and steamy. I loved how even though all this time had passed they still felt the same and could get past what happened.
