Sweet romance

Single mom Hannah and her son are working to feel accepted by the small town where she’s living in her ex’s family home. Adam is tired of city life. The story is how these two seemingly opposites come together. I enjoyed listening to this sweet romance.

A Sweet Clean Romance

This is book 1 of the Love Happens series. Hannah Jenkins, a strong independent woman, has been divorced from her husband for some time. You'd think the gossiping would have stopped by now. In walks the handsome and famous Adam Cade. Now his old neighbors are throwing themselves....at his money. What started out as a fake relationship between Adam and Hannah blossoms into something much more.

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook. It was romantic, but a clean read. I think it took a lot for Hannah to forgive her ex-husband, and he did not give his son any stability so no wonder he knew nothing about him. I felt absolutely awful for the poor kid. This was a great story of self-discovery and most importantly forgiveness.

Small town sweet romance

Divorced mom, Hannah, is trying to to take care of her son, and feel accepted by the small town where she’s living in her ex’s family home. Adam is trying to get away from big city life. Hannah dreams up the idea for them to have a fake relationship in order to help each other out. They are attracted to each other, but there are a few complications. I enjoyed listening to this sweet romance.

Like a Hallmark Movie

As the title suggests, this is a sweet listen. The reader did a great job. It was a nice listen one time through, I don’t think I will visit it again because it is too “cookie cutter hallmark story.” For it to have really drawn me in, I feel like the heroine would have needed more depth and likability; and that the male lead would have needed more explanation/ more of a reason that he chooses to commit for life to her rather than that he is rescuing her. Otherwise, it is hard to believe their relationship would last. However, as Hallmark movies are big business, I am sure many people will love the story , and I really appreciate being able to pass the time listening to different audiobooks.
