Jiran's rapid ascensions through the tiers have been nought but meteoric. His growth beyond the norm. But he has only begun to understand the intricate gifts he’s earned, and he is out of time. The empire is out of time. A reckoning is coming, and they are not prepared.

The Graymin rulers have taken notice of Jiran’s unusual powers, and their greed knows no bounds. Unfortunately, divination of those beyond one’s tier is a known impossibility, and so the empire is unaware of the tide of destruction poised to wash it away.

Oblivious to the looming danger, Jiran has set upon an adventure in a new land. With Mayalyn and Niya at his side, the trio must unravel the mysteries of a unique and enchanting race, because beneath their exotic beauty, resides a secret that could save everything they hold dear.

Behind the curtains, an enemy hides in the empire’s shadow, prepared to strike when all hope seems lost. Meanwhile, Madra’s manipulations continue to unfold; her will unbending as the seasons that scour her surface.

But within every tragedy, there lies a ray of hope, within every misfortune a path to power, and within every being that inhabits the planet stuck on hard mode rests the chance for greatness.

With new powers and allies, Jiran has the pieces needed to save his home, his people. All he has to do is put them together before it's too late.

If only it were that simple.

I have no complaints besides if the writer decides do the crappy harem he seems to be setting up like the mc has said before why would anyone want to deal with more than one woman

Love it but …

It was one of the best so far. I enjoyed the new creatures a lot and most of the book was a joy to read. The ending was abrupt after such a buildup. It cut off the book only a third of the way into a grand battle that was built up the entire book. I was hoping for more but it was like a cake was being made the whole book only to be served with no icing. Jiran didn't even get to do that much in the grand scheme of things. Also the authors bad habit struck multiple times. That being important parts cut from the book to later be reveled as crucial things. It's really annoying when mcguffins only appear or explained after they come in use. It's a cheap tactic to tease readers and doesn't add enjoyment to the story. My biggest regret is the cliffhanger the book cuts off on. The war is still ongoing and the characters are all still fighting so it's very irritating.

The ending lost a star.

I have come to love this series, and am somewhat disappointed for the Harem plot twist, I guess this Is a lesson learned to listen to red herrings more often. I'll still listen, but why?

Harem?
