Very helpful and detailed
I have been studying Spanish for a very long time and have even lived in Spain, but I cannot consider myself an expert yet in the language because there is jargon for different jobs that I have not yet mastered. This audiobook helped me learn so much about the vocabulary and phrases used in the medical field. The narrator had such a clear voice and gave sufficient time for you to comprehend and digest the new words before moving on. I was surprised by how detailed this audiobook became. The refresher in the beginning about Spanish basics (such as colors and the alphabet) were helpful and perfect for dusting the cobwebs off, but I was blown away by how extensive its teaching goes. This audiobook is all inclusive and has just about any Spanish word or phrase one would need for just about any situation to be successful as a medical professional. I highly recommend using this audiobook as a great way to learn medical terminology and procedures in Spanish.

Definitely has an added value.
I am self taught in Spanish, and I have been living abroad between El Salvador and US for the past 7 years. Now I really wish I had gotten a hold of something like this before taking the leap of coming to Central America. I work with my brother who works as a dentist here in El Salvador. Not only did this audio book help bring me up to speed on medical jargon to help him out, but the real reason I wish I discovered this audiobook 7 years ago, is not only does it go over vocabulary and idioms, BUT it goes over what are expected ways of greeting and approaching people. This definitely add a value that not all learning a new language book have. I would definitely recommend this book.

Highly recommend
I am a fluent Spanish speaker and this audiobook exposed me to Spanish words I had never heard of. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is in or plans to be in the medical field! The audiobook covers basic Spanish such as the alphabet and greetings to complex terms that would be used in the medical field. I really like that it covers terms and phrases you may use as a medical professional in case of an emergency. I feel like I was able to learn more by listening to the book because you are able to actually able to listen to the pronunciation instead of just trying to guess. I have shared this book with a family member who is a paramedic/ fireman and he said it has helped hi

a humbling experience
With Spanish being my native tongue, I began listening to this audiobook with the expectation that I would learn nothing more than just a few technical terms that were rarely used. I had the notion that this book would be below my very fluent ability to speak spanish. But with every new perspective, comes a new world to paint abroad and I was surprised at how many words I was pronouncing wrong, how many phrases I’ve been saying out of context and most definitely how many terms I knew nothing about. This books approach is steady and concise, yet has a sort of easy relaxation to it that walks you, hand in hand, through the whole process of learning spanish. It is gentle yet disciplined, many people can easily benefit from this, whether they work in the medical field or not, whether they speak spanish or not.
The author brings in an extensive range of material, from learning the basics such as colors, numbers, the alphabet, to how to greet someone formally, how to sound more natural when speaking and finally to learning about the medical terms in spanish, the male and female reproductive system, infant care, diagnosis, nutrients and much more. This crosses over such a wide variety of subjects it will be impossible not to learn something new, despite of what type of learner you are, or how long you have been listening for. Even if you just listen to the first chapter, it is almost inevitable that you will come across some realizations.
I am proud to say that not only do I have a much deeper understanding of my language, but I am a humbler person because of this work. I will no longer claim to know everything of a subject, just because I am fairly familiar to it. With every new road, comes a new experience. I will carry this wisdom with me across all realms of life, my eyes wider, ears shaper than before.
Excellent book, life-altering experience!

Wonderful learning tool
Let me start saying that narration is very clear and understandable, as a both Spanish and English speaker I found the female narrator to be very accurate and clear, furthermore, the narrator did a great job giving the listener the tools to learn, through clear commands and indications (repetition, tips and encouragement). Overall, I really enjoyed this books, it was definitely worth the time, so I would recommend this to busy professional to listen while driving or doing any other activities that allow them to listen a few minutes every day.

This book is impressively useful and complete for professional medical guidance in Spanish language.
I recommend it a lot since the pronunciation and order in which it develops is appropriate. It goes from the smallest and the simplest to the largest and the most complex. I like to repeat the words and sentences two or more times.
The book goes through sounds, alphabet, basic words for an initial encounter with other people, orientation in the accentuation rules, people, colors, numbers and the most important is that each and every one of the terminologies referring to the medical environment, patients, diagnosis, body, surgery, recovery and gratitude among others.
The advantage of audiobooks in Audible is that you can do other things while listening and learning. Excellent!

Really useful text for beginners and advanced
Reading this short read really gave me a purpose and sense of what the latin countries speak in their hospitals and being interested in Spanish culture, I went to Mexico for vacation. Here after having a small flu I was able to communicate with the staff even nurses and offer translations to some of the symptoms. The repetition of the words really helps makes it possible for me to learn the pronunciation and remember the definitions. After taking couple years of Spanish way back in high school it was possible to figure out some familiar words and using the first couple chapters are primers and the rest as new knowledge worked for me and will work for other people as well. I learned new words, phrases, correct conjugation. I suggest this book highly.

A perfect tool for bridging the language gap
This easy to follow and comprehensive guide is the perfect tool for breaching language boundaries between patient and medical professional. As someone who is constantly on-the-go, this guide was helpful, as it can be listened to from anywhere. The pace is flawless, and it gives the listener enough time to process the words or phrases presented in English and Spanish, or even to repeat them out loud. What's more, the narrator, Jessica Del Cid, very clearly enunciates in both languages, leaving very little room for confusion. Having grown up in a multilingual community, I believe this guide would have been the ideal starting point for medical professionals in my area, especially considering the Spanish language review that proceeded the medical language in Chapter One. As our world becomes more culturally connected, this ebook by My Daily Spanish could bring our communities together to bridge the language and cultural gaps that exist today.

Useful book for language learning!
Coming from someone who is studying the Spanish language as well as being a student in nursing school, I found this audiobook extremely helpful. The points were easy to follow and it gave a wide variety of useful vocabulary, phrases, and even commands. Another thing I loved was the words and phrases were repeated for better understanding.

Great product for language learners
When learning a language, a good method is comparing the new language with the target language. If you are an English speaker, this audiobook will help you a lot and you will end up understanding the grammar structures, phrases and more in Spanish, as this audiobook makes a comparison between both languages.
The explanations are clear and easy to follow. So, even when you are not talking to a tutor in real life, you will be able to solve your doubts by just keep listening to the audiobook.
The audiobook goes through everything: from the basic to a level a little bit more advanced than beginner. The information here is really useful and it will definitely make you start speaking Spanish. It even focuses on pronunciation which is an important thing that not many people take into account.
Spanish is not an easy language to learn but this audiobook makes it easier!
