Publisher's summary

She sold me lies and stole my daughter. It’s my turn to even the score.

Charlotte came into my house with lies on her lips.

With debts on her head.

With hate in her heart.

Despite all that, we found something together.

Hope.

Healing.

Family.

But it was all just a pretty song and dance.

A sinner’s lullaby.

She made me weak....

And now my little girl is the one paying the price.

I’ll get my daughter back, no matter what it takes.

Then I’ll find Charlotte Dunn...and show her what happens when you lie to the don.

Sinner's Lullaby is the second book in the Mazzeo Mafia duet. Make sure you’ve started with Lucio and Charlotte’s story from the beginning in book one, Liar's Lullaby.

Hot and suspenseful book duet. Solid YES.

This is the second and last book for the Mazzeo Mafia set and it didn’t disappoint. I have read a number of other similarly themed books/series from Nicole Fox and this book duet was my favorite thus far. Has a villain ever been so hot, broody, and emotionally conflicted? Lucio was presented perfectly in book one which kicked the books off well. The only thing I felt was missing in book two was a detailed reminder about his appearance so you remembered exactly how hot he really should be in your head. Tattoos peeking from his suits.. Although I wanted to strangle both Lucio and Charlotte for being so dense at times, that’s real life and so many things happen with people because they are not using their real brains or allowing fear to cloud sound judgement. This allowed for me to connect well to the storyline and various characters. The author did a great job of staying just behind or teetering on that line that so often turns things a bit too far into the unbelievable or annoying category and in the end can distance the reader quickly.
I hope to find other books from
Nicole Fox that are equally as good going forward. You will not regret immersing yourself in the Mazzeo Mafia.

Soo Good!

So worth the credit. Plenty of action, romance, mystery and passion. Not your typical “virgin sold to the mafia” narrative. Charlotte is naive at times but she’s no coward! Loved it!

Pretty good once it gets going

I must say, I do agree with the other reviews. The girl really did annoy me a little. She seemed very immature and some of her logics of thought were pretty dumb. I enjoyed the mail character, but some of his thoughts were stupid to which really made it work. The storyline was pretty good. It was a slow start in the beginning, but it wrapped up to be a pretty good storyline. This is my second story by Nicole Fox and one thing I noticed is her storylines do start a little slow. I recommend sticking with it because its worth it in the end. The one major complaint I have is the female narrator. I don’t know what it was about her voice, but her voice really irked my nerves in certain situations. I felt like when she was supposed to be acting argumentative it came out like a bratty 10 year old. The male narrator was great! I really did enjoy his voice.

Enjoyed the depth of the story telling

The book was one of the good ones when it comes to these mafia romance novels. It actually had depth to it. My only dislime was that some of the stuff was a bit to drawn out, and i found myself getting annoyed with the FMC.
