Wonderful

This is a really well written and exciting mafia romance! I found both of the main characters very likable and strong. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!

Very good read! Had some ups and downs but kept me coming back so definitely going to listen to book 2 especially since this one ends on such a dramatic cliff hanger!

Gilded Cage

This was a great book but Esme was so annoying and did some really dumb things. I could not stand her. Maybe she will be better in the next book. Love Artem. He was great, especially dealing with Esme. At times, she acted very immature. Artem's friend Cillian was great! On the downside, although very good, it felt like this book went on forever. I feel it could have been much shorter than 15+ hours. Alan Carlson and Allyson Voller did a great job with the narration.

why is this Esme soo annoying and quite stupid. from obedient daughter that can't even speak up even a tad to fire in the eyes!?! like really, she's fighting him let me go let me go..
her dad almost married her to someone old fart doubtful she would fight that but hot Russian mob... she doesn't want the life and running to streets but yet dreamed about them. Artem if he would be a tru don would put her on her place pretty quickly. to many inconsistency of she she random run away from him really... eye roll... however Alan Carlsson my new fave

I love love LOVE this story!

This duet (well, more like quartet??) is what made me fall in love with all things Nicole Fox. These were my 1st books by her and I’ve been hooked every since! I read these before but decided to try the audible version and it did not disappoint. Alan Carlson and Allyson Voller voiced this story so well I was drawn in anew!
Remembering Esmes gentle heart and dreaming soul with her arresting beauty; Artems strong alpha vibes and yummy manliness…I fell in love all over again. Can’t wait to get onto the next book here in audible and reading Kians book on my kindle as I NEED to know what happens with any kids that may have come about in previous books!!

The narrators makes for story-telling perfection.

I loved this book so much. The story is well-paced, well-written, and engaging. Esme is the daughter of the head of a Mexican cartel. Even though she’s in her early twenties, her life has been tightly contained and controlled by her father. A rare night out with her cousin leads her to a one-night stand with Russian mobster Artem. From there, their lives and fates will clash and intertwine as they both try to discern they’re developing love and sense of family between them.

The narrators did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I loved this series.

What a great book! Buying the next one right away! This is probably one of my most favorite books of the year for me!

I’ve read this book series before and loved it from beginning to end. I enjoyed listening to it. Can’t wait to listen to the second book. It’s a must read
