Great read if you’re already familiar with SL

This has been one of my favorite servant leadership books to date. The personal accounts were inspiring and motivating. They really gave me fresh insight on how servant leadership looks different in many situations, though keeping the same core principles and how I can better apply it in my life without actually telling me what to do. The narration was great as well.

Now I Understand More about Servant Leadership

I really enjoyed this book. I liked all the examples that were given and especially the ones about Southwest Airlines, Popeyes and anything that compared it to Christs life as one of the first highly noted servant leaders. it's a very intriguing proposition. I haven't had the chance to work in this type of environment in my 51 years of working, though my current company is moving in that direction.

Required for Virtual Aspiring Supervisor Program

Of the five titles, this appealed to me the most as it most closely fit my leadership style. Highly recommended.

Communism

I find it so hilarious that this book perfectly describes communism and things that literally cannot be done at all without socialist reform (like a Nordstrom employee leaving the store to get what a customer wanted without up charging them…) while somehow appealing to nationalist power hungry Christians. Hilarious and fantastic.

Gave me a lot to consider for my leadership style! Due to the unique nature of this book, should have had a few more readers.

Much better than I expected

Although a fan of Ken Blanchard, I hesitated buying this book since it was a compilation of essays from various authors. I was concerned that it would be repetitive and disjointed; it was not. I found the varying perspectives and insights to be interesting and highly engaging.
