The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
In a rarified world of scientific research, a revolution has been brewing. Its activists are not anarchists, but rather Nobel Laureates in physics and economics and pony-tailed graduates, mathematicians, and computer scientists from all over the world. They have formed an iconoclastic think-tank and their radical idea is to create a new science: complexity. They want to know how a primordial soup of simple molecules managed to turn itself into the first living cell--and what the origin of life some four billion years ago can tell us about the process of technological innovation today.

Loved the content, hated the audiobook
This is the first book I purchased in Portuguese and I could not be more disappointed. The Narrator isn't a native speaker, and although he make a great effort, his accent tends to be annoying.
The translation seem to have been done on a Google Translator kind of software. Several sentences only make sense if you translate them back to English. Then you can understand what the author meant with it.
All in all, I was better off getting the English version, because it would have been a lot less mind tiring. I had to listen the book in Portuguese and than translate it back to English in my head so I could get it. All of this on a PHILOSOPHY BOOK.
I would say doing that on Gossip Girl would be a challenge, imagine on a book like this. Just don't buy it.
