There is more to serving as a trustee than counting money or repairing the church. Beginning with the biblical and theological basis of service, Rev. Dr. Deborah Willis has prepared a very comprehensive book to share the sense of real ministry for those who serve as a trustee of any church. This book is both practical and inspiring as all her books are.
If so, then this is a book you will want to read, as it details everything you might want to know about being a trustee, from what it takes to become one to what the responsibilities of a trustee are. The book is really in depth and comprhensive, and I do not think that it missed anything at all. It is full if details and knowledge that would greatly benefit someone considering becoming a trustee. It outlines all of their responsibilities, some of which might surprise you. Trevor Clinger narrates cleanly and smoothly, and is very easy to follow. Even though I did receive a promo code for this review it in no way influenced my considerations of the material, and in fact, inspired me to be more honest. In fact, getting a code generally makes me harsher as a reviewer as I am more often concerned what someone like Me will decide based on my review.

This book caught my interest, because many people like me do not know what happens to the money that is put into the offering plate. This audiobook answered all my questions, in regards to money matters.
The author did a great job on pointing out the realities of what goes on behind closed doors within in the church. I have money drama like this going on in my church as well and this book definitely helped ease my mind. Very interesting!
