The practice of meditation cannot, should not, and will not interfere with - nor complicate - your current beliefs. The reason is simple: mediation is not about believing anything. It's simply a practice. It's a practice of just being. (It's not about believing or even thinking, really...as you'll soon find out in this book.) Most of our life is such that it only involves the 'human' part of who we are. Meditation can help you to give a little of your time to the 'being' part of the 'human being' that you are. So, it's really about bringing balance into your life.
