Life has a way of teaching us lessons that we are not ready to learn. For Robert Guliani, an athletic 16-year-old, a simple dive into the ocean left him paralyzed and wheelchair bound. Now at the youthful age of 60, he has taken the time to step back and reflect on a journey that has taken him from rehab to marriage, from high school to college, from a successful industry career to a stock market and card-playing retiree in sunny Florida. Live in Rob's shoes and learn.
Robert Guliani's story of perseverance through a debilitating accident, his refusal to give up, the incredible love of his family, especially of his wife, Nidia is a remarkable read. He excelled in his career despite continual medical setbacks. He always kept going. I'm not sure I would have the same strength to do so. Ben Werling does an excellent job of narrating Robert's story.
