Critic reviews

"A gifted conversationalist." (The New Yorker)
"This is a program that delivers: It's short, read by a likable and upbeat author, and well illustrated with vignettes of conversational success. The sophisticated principles show solid thinking, yet they're delivered with the geniality of your favorite meteorologist. Easy-to-follow lessons and Gabor's positive delivery make this an empowering listening experience." (AudioFile)

Some Good Tips

A good introduction to basic conversational techniques. Could be longer and more detailed, but worth listening to if you want to polish up your speaking skills. Offers some good tips.

Pretty Good but too short.

I wish it had gone into more detail. The book is better. I read the second edition book and this is a good refresher while I drive to work.

Ok advice, nothing ground breaking

I've heard most of this before, if anything it was a nice reminder, and good conversational practices.
There's one line in particular that was good to hear. "Don't try and think of your next line to say, listening to the person will dictate what you'll say next.
