Publisher's Summary

Does hands-on healing work and can it be taught? Like many scientists, Dr. William Bengston would once have dismissed this phenomenon as an example of power of suggestion. But after 35 years of extraordinary research, Dr. Bengston has demonstrated time and again that hands-on healing works-even on some conditions that have no conventional treatment. With Hands On Healing, he brings you an in-depth training course in the method that produces reliable results in the laboratory and can trigger profound transformation and healing for those who learn it.

Energy Healing for the Statistically Minded

Although the author does not know how or why it works, he provides an interesting story about how he came upon a technique which seems to cure some diseases. He backs this up with statistical studies conducted through reputable, accredited universities. Unfortunately, he has not been successful in securing major grant funding. This is truly sad.

He outlines and then provides practice in the technique which he refers to as "cycling." It's a process of cycling thoughts rapidly in one's mind.

I was so impressed with the contents of this book that I listened to it twice... once by myself and once with my husband. I've recommended it to several of my friends.

I've been doing the practices on this book since April 2012. Can't say I've moved on to healing anything, but the practices are very unique and I have to say some interesting things have happened. I wanted to go to the weekend class offered in the fall, but couldn't make it. I'm going to try and go though.........

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!

I absolutely loved this book! I appreciated the research and experiments that went into his study and techniques. He is also very thorough in the explanation of how to do these techniques. I really learned a lot and was also validated on some of my research and thoughts that have been on my mind about this subject. Thank you Professor Bengston!

Very Interesting and Great Book

Where does Hands On Healing rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Right up there at the top

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hands On Healing?

Author never told me things to do. He have suggestions and he didn't know if it would work. He suggested I try this or that and see what happens for me.<br/>Very Brilliant delivery and Great Book

What does William Bengston bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His humorous and sarcastic tone. Yes, he sounds a bit flippin about things but I gather he is from the North/Jersey or somewhere. But after I got into his humor and way of saying things he really kept me interested. The delivery had to be done by him, his way of delivery and easy-going way of talking about Believes that people have or don't have was wonderful.

Weird

It didn't work for me. I tried and tried and tried. I listened to the tape and half the tape is literally the author tapping. It was a boring long CD that is not well written, goes over the same subject again and again and the author keeps saying he doesn't believe that it works. I was disappointed.

this works just like the author said it does.

I highly recommend this book. I have petrified bananas doing this. I also have charged cotton and helped myself and plants.

Hands On Healing

This was an insightful and very useful audio book. I had read William Bengaton's book The Energy Cure first and thought listening to his voice in this book was a perfect complement.

Too much talking!

Would you try another book from William Bengston and/or William Bengston?

This author spends a lot of time talking about things that don't really matter. I find myself getting very annoyed and begging him to get to the details already. Also, the audiobook has tons of drumming and tapping, which seems to me like a lot of filler. I think I would like this book better in print....it's one of those where you have to skip most of it to get to the good stuff....still listening, not there yet.
