Publisher's Summary

Will the truth set her free...or keep her forever a prisoner of the past?

When Charity ran away with the Romany Gypsies, she left everything behind: her name, a way of life constrained by English rules, the punishments her cruel father meted out in the name of God, and the young man who made it all bearable. Certain things she can’t hide, even in wild, remote Wale: a secret longing for the ease of English life, the wisps of faith that still linger, and her reaction to a handsome face she thought she’d never see again.

Daniel Hayward would recognize that voice anywhere and that unruly, copper-colored hair, as well as those piercing blue eyes. But what is Charity Weston doing wearing Gypsy garb in Wales...when she died years ago?

For a moment, the grief that never quite left him is transformed into joy. But the walls between them now are built from bricks of culture clashes, bitter memories, and fear. To find his way, Daniel will have to trust as never before that God will guide their hearts home at last.

Does he love the girl she was...or the woman she has become?

This poignant Regency Inspirational romance will fill your heart with love and hope.

Seeking Charity by Josie Riviera

Such sweet and lovely read or listen. This is the first time I've ever read something with gypsies and it was really enjoyable. I love that this book gave me a glimpse of gypsy life and the recipe at the end of the book is definitely on my menu list!

The narration by Tessa Peterson was also really good. :) I look forward to hearing more of her narration.

Story of the past catching up with the present.

Seeking Charity by Josie Riviera Sweet and I enjoyed story line very much. I have received the audible complementary to enjoy and this review is my honest thoughts on Seeking Charity book. Seeking Charity is a story of a young lady who decides to runaway from her dreary trouble home life at the age of 14 years of age determine to never return home or to the English customs again. Charity joins a Gypsy tribe and during the 6 years is recognized as Romany Gypsy like all the others in the tribe and no longer consider an outsider/English. But one day Charity past catches up with her when she is in Wale’s and her paths crosses with Daniel Hayward, the fellow English boy who was four years older that she spent her days with riding and talking that made her days brighter and life a little bit tolerable, and Daniel thought she died 6 long years ago. Charity is apprehensive of Daniel motives when their path cross and both must navigate the culture differences between Charity Gypsy life and Daniel’s English customs that Charity so desperately ran away from 6 years earlier. Can Charity and Daniel navigate to culture difference and make up the missed time or is Charity forced to go back to the English ways she determines never to go back to or stay with her Gypsy tribe and reject Daniel to potentially miss out seeing if Daniel is her soulmate? I recommend this sweet story to find out.

The Noble and the Runaway

I liked the first story in this series and I liked this one even more. The Welsh countryside, the Regency manners and the sharp counterpoint offered by the Romney band. The runaway Charity is gentle and loving but also as fiery as her red hair would suggest and in many ways, her rebellious spirit is far more suited to the Romney lifestyle than her father's rigid, unbending and abusive expectations.
Daniel, her old crush is the typical Regency male; proper, ruled by expectation and sometimes completely oblivious to what's happening under the surface of British high society's rigid social mores. They're very different, but their story is adorably sweet and their H.E.A. is well deserved.
This one's well worth your time if you're a Regency romance fan.

Seeking Charity

I would like for this to have been a full length novel and I have really enjoyed the other books in this series, but it was still just as good.

Wonderful story

Seeking Charity is a sweet and clean story suitable for teens and up. I really enjoyed the story of the Gypsies and their colorful lifestyle and, unfortunately, about the prejudices they encountered. The narrator gave a delightful performance that made for a wonderful listening experience.

Sweet and Clean

Seeking Charity
Seeking Series, Book 2
By: Josie Riviera

This is a sweet clean historical fiction romance. Josie Riviera spins a

tale of a second chance at love. The characters are interesting and the

listener feels like they have traveled back in time and are right there

in Wales. A short but enjoyable listen.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by Tessa

Petersen. Her voice was very easy to listen to.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have

voluntarily left this review.

Such a sweet love story

When Daniel and his sister go to Wales to visit a childhood friend of Daniels after his marriage while passing up a roll many camp Daniel swears he sees his childhood friend charity who he thought to be dead since the age of 14. Convinced it was her the next morning when he wakes he goes into his astonishment it is her. Open till now then you had no want of a wife and didn’t want to be tied down at all, but all that changes when he looked into the blue eyes of charity. He’s falling fast, But will charity leave the people that cared for her for six years to go with the only person who is kind to her as a child?

I absolutely love this story. This isn’t your ordinary Victorian romance. It is different by far end the narrator I thought you did a wonderful job. I love everything about this book. I highly recommend it to those who love romance and sweet and clean romances especially.
