Informative but disjointed

Repetitive but not necessarily in a bad way. Good intro to the SCRUM methodology. Highly disjointed. Does not feel like a cohesive whole. appears to be based off of a series of blog posts that could have used more massaging into a book format.

decent introduction to scrum concepts

This book was easy to follow. If you are already familiar with Scrum, you may want to seek other options. this book provides a very "bare bones" guide to what scrum is and is definitely for beginners.

Average content but repetitive and poorly edited

For a complete scrum beginner the content in this book could be somewhat useful. The book is quite repetitive and most of the second half of the book seems redundant or as a minimum very poorly edited.

Useful content, bad delivery.

Very useful and illustrative text to quickly get the hang of Scrum. There is a lot of repetition but that ultimately helps clarify and retain.
However, the narrator speaks in a robotic way inserting pauses where they don’t belong and using very confusing intonation. It sounds like someone reading without thinking and not caring the slightest bit about meaning.

Best SCRUM review book for starting a new PM role

Just started a new PM role and read this after my first week. It is a great refresher on Agile methodology and gives great insight on managing the team, the sprint, the backlog, etc.

HIGHLY recommended before starting any new PM role.

I loved It

The books go into the early years of development of programming being unsuccessful due to overemphasis on pre-planning and not working with customers to ensure their needs were being met throughout the development process.

One of the best Scrum books I’ve listed to

I almost didn’t purchase this as there is a grammatical error in the title (an apostrophe in a plural?!) and the subtitle is pure click bait. However, I’m glad I took the risk. This is a straightforward, practical insight onto the what, why, and how of Scrum. Alongside Jeff Sutherland’s introductory Scrum book this is a very good nuts and bolts complement.

Interesting book.

The author tells so many interesting stories from his experiences that you'll buy his audiobook just for those stories! And also he gives a very convincing message about how the Scrum framework can help so many kinds of industries because it's how you frame the questions and think through the problems.
