Heading off for a weekend in Las Vegas with her friends, Jessie Ralle has only one worry: how to make it through the road trip in the same car as her ex, Jimmy Kelter. The guy she hasn’t come close to getting over since he broke up with her five months ago. The guy who’s finally ready to tell her why he did it, because now he wants her back. Only, sometimes knowing why doesn’t actually make things better. Sometimes it leads to bigger, more terrifying questions.

Physically and emotionally scarred by the murderer, Kelly feels she will never be the same. She is cut off not only from her husband and child, but also from her fellow FBI agents, who see her as a rogue for going after the Acid Man alone.
A series of texts and emails sent between two best friends, Ava and Gen, as they head off to their first semesters of college on opposite sides of the country. From first loves to weird roommates, heartbreak, self-discovery, coming out, and mental health, the two best friends will document every moment to each other. But as each changes and grows into her new life, will their friendship be able to survive the distance?
My name is Jemma Blackburn, and I have a secret. I know vampires are real. I watched one murder my father eight months ago, and even though they tried to convince me it didn't happen - that I'd lost touch with reality due to the trauma, I know what I saw was real. Hollow Hills is now the place I call home. It was supposed to be my chance at a normal life. My chance to bury my secret and start over.
Based upon the graphic novels by Joe Harris - with creative direction from series creator Chris Carter - and adapted specifically for the audio format by aural auteur Dirk Maggs (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Alien: Out of the Shadows), Cold Cases marks yet another thrilling addition to the pantheon of X-Files stories. Featuring a mind-blowing and otherworldly soundscape of liquefying aliens, hissing creatures, and humming spacecraft, listeners get to experience the duo's investigations like never before.
There's something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori. Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price's attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He's the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.

I have been reading Christopher Pike since high school, more than 10 years ago, and even though I know I have evolved and grown in taste, his books have a timeless quality. I think Sita the last vampire is the by far the best Vampire series ever written. Pike's books are super entertaining with exciting plots and characters that you fall in love, there are definite spiritual messages in them. Its hard for me to stay interested interested in books in a series, but I savored every word. The narrator did a good job but I didn't really think her voice fits with the voice that I had imagined for Sita, but the writing was so captivating that I didn't care. I LOVED every moment of it. Thank you Christopher Pike! I can't wait for Thirst No 4.

This was a good book, and a good listen. A lot of suspense, which I have countered in a lot of Pike books. Sita is a really strong characters and I really like her. So, I would suggest listening to this book only if you loved no.1 and no.2 because you won't really follow along if you haven't. I gave this book three stars because I felt like it wasn't wrote up to par to no.1 and no.2.

I read the Pike series many years ago. I have since re-read and re-listened to the books in this series. I feel this books did a good job of re-engaging you in Sita's life however, it left many unanswered questions from previous books. I am not sure if Thirst #3 and #4 are really necessary after all this time. It might be better to have left Sita die in Thirst #2.

If you could sum up Thirst No. 3: The Eternal Dawn in three words, what would they be?
Its about time!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Thirst No. 3: The Eternal Dawn?
the fact that this book came out. I remember reading the original 6 volume "Last Vampire" series when I was much younger and re-read them many times. I always wondered what happened after that story ended. Now we know. Apparently there is a "Thirst 4", but it is not out on audiobook. Wish it was.
What does Mandy Siegfried bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Brought my old friends (characters that I read long ago) to life for the first time for me.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes.
Any additional comments?

Story Is Great....Like most of Mr. Pike's works
BUT
I'm sure Ms. Mandy is a wonderful woman and all but I don't see her as Sita AT ALL she seem to 🍎 apple pie for my liking
amazing book really awsome read I wish Hollywood would consider making a movie from it
My sister in law got me addicted to this series especially reading the beginning of the first book. It was confusing at first for the explanation of Sita's living a different life but still had her loved and some new allies. But one thing was the narrator, it should be some one with more wisdom in there voice and there soul. Overall a most superb book.
Where does Thirst No. 3: The Eternal Dawn rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I love Christopher Pikes writing and especially his Thirst series. He lends a greater depth to his heroes and heroines as more than mere vampires. He tugs at their beginnings and underpinnings in such a way that you meet characters you never expected. Thus far, Audible has only the third in the series of four volumes. Read them in order. Each volume is meaty and not a quick read. It's more of a seven course meal that leaves one satisfied and content but not tied up too neatly. She is, after all, the worlds oldest vampire who is also shackled by her spirituality, living and breathing her Karma.
