Why?

Love the series, but I'm not sure why this was needed. And since I'm really in to the series and buying all the books, why not throw this in as a bonus, like some other series have done? There's just not enough there to warrant paying for it, in my opinion. I'll just stick to the novels.

Mini audio books are bad

This trend of 2 hour books is ridiculous. It is lazy. It is a ripoff. It spoils what would otherwise be a wonderful series. So why did I buy it? Of course I am going to buy it because I love the series. I can't not buy it. But it irritates me to no end that this is becoming a trend and no way I will ever rate one well.

Story

Too short for a book needs to be longer for a full credit. 1/2 credit is the value

Nice to read but not a must

The books in the series are really long, we appreciate that, and on top of that now there's a "novella". We don't like novellas but I don't begrudge the author because the books are otherwise complete. This is for that little extra story and fleshes out what's going on with the "official" United States, President Briggs and most importantly, Abe.

A great little story

A great little short story that gives you a more in depth work of what led up to the final scenes of “Fractured”. A quick read with tons of action al really wet my appetite for the next book “Allegiance”!

As always Mr. Rummel does great with the narration of these gritty action books.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this series!

DJ Molles is such a master of the written word! The plot twists, the descriptions, the way he a pretty crazy concept believable enough for a non-sci-fi fan to (REALLY) enjoy... I just can't say enough good things!

Very few narrators would do this story justice, but Christian Rummel is a PERFECT match. I am VERY picky about narrators and I listen to a lot of books in this genre and Christian Rummel is, at least, in my top 3.

I won't say much more, since you are already wasting your time reading this instead of buying and listening to the series, but my one comment about this novella in particular is a strong complaint that the audio book was released out of order! What the heck is with that??? It was hard enough to even learn what order it was supposed to be listened to in, but to not even have the option of listening in order is lame. Luckily! If you are reading this now, you don't have to worry about that because they're all out now!

Buy this series now. You won't regret it.

Some background info for Abe

More info on the bunkers, the function, living quarters, self sufficiency ability would have been good
