Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Heads up - Warning
Loved the story but be aware, this is the only one of the four books in this series available, audio or Kindle version as of 3/23.
Ends on a cliff hanger so is you listen be prepared to be disappointed.

New twist
Of course, I love massive action stories. That being said, a good covert story has its appeal as well. This story was tactfully done and included a lot of the KU lore. A vampire that possibly left earth before BA? Need to add some more to that in the future. Otherwise an awesome story

Good Story
I rather enjoyed listening to this audio version of this story, however what I am not happy with is the fact that Ava has been reduced down to only a face on the cover due to a few people that convinced said author that the original covers were not good. This change in the covers has lead to me deciding I was going to eventually get around to the rest of the books, maybe I will just listen to them when they hit audio like this one. I liked how the narrator brings Ava to life.

vam pie ric?
Book was interesting although slow at first, but picked up as it went along good first story. I must say I did laugh hearing vampiric being pronounced (vam pie rick) instead of(vam peer ick), but the reader's voice is very calming and satisfying to hear. Can't wait to hear the next chapter!
