Publisher's Summary

Having learned of the destruction of their world, Jack, Sam, and Will are forced to flee the security of their grandparent's home with blood thirsty beasts hot on their trail. Leaving the dark rider and the answers he likely had behind, they again are forced to fend for themselves as they are pursued relentlessly. It isn't until they begin to see signs of life that hope is rekindled, but with the beasts gaining on them, will they reach what surely must be salvation, or will they fall victim to the creatures that destroyed the world they once knew?

PEOPLE WHO WERE IN A NIGHTMARE, DIDN'T WISH

THEY WERE IN A NIGHTMARE
I mentioned in the review of book one, that I would not continue if the writing was so, drawn out. Well, it is still drawn out and it is boring. The concept of alien invasion is good, but the writing is not up to par. Book also has a strong YA feel.

Great exciting book

I actually really enjoyed this book. plan on reading the whole series as each book ends in cliffhanger. Continuing the story of some kids who are just trying to survive what seems as the end of world. trying to figure out what happened while in the bunker their father (who never came bank) put them in and what or who to be afraid of now. The audio bugs me as after or during the reading there is a music short that distracts and bothers me. The narrator otherwise is okay.

Another Hit!

Great second book, can't wait for the next one. The narrator sucks you in and keeps you there. Not a book you want to put down once it's started.
