Fun series

Really enjoy how the series continues to grow with each new audio book. Wonderful narrator, and many laugh out loud moments. Worth your time.

such a good series I love the narrator, she is priceless!!! she makes all the characters come alive like you are watching a movie a really good movie!!

Entertaining

I absolutely enjoy this series. The protagonist is smart, sarcastic, and follows her instincts. The supporting characters are delightful. Grandma is my favorite character, she adds spice to the stories and family unit. Can not wait to pick up the next book in the series.

Fun times with Jill the witch!

Jill Gooder brings the fun again! Our P.I. is solving a kidnaping in Washbridge and partying with the twins in Candlefield. She is still single without a boyfriend on the horizon. She has not apologized to Drake and Jack is pissed with her interference with a case she did not take.

Grandma is still running a successful business, using magic, but Jill cannot prove it. Should Jill even try to prove it? Family is family and grandma… well you know how revengeful she can be. If she did prove it how would that affect her sister?

Thanxs to grandma’s bullying Jill is successful with her magic testing. If she could only get the twins motivated. I enjoy her solving her cases utilizing her magic.

In Candlefield someone is still trying to kill her. Jill does not wait for someone to solve her problems. No, she burglars their home to find evidence.

I really would like is more time for Winky, the talking smart ass, one-eyed cat and Barry, the bumbling lovable dog. But there are laughs with them.

This series should be read in order. Enjoy it because I did! P.S. Jill please take Barry on more walks to the park.

Thoroughly Enjoyable

I discovered this series a couple of months ago by happy accident at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and the timing couldn't have been better. The characters are engaging, the stories are humorous without resorting to crassness, and while the mysteries aren't the most difficult to unravel, they do have enough red herrings and twists to keep one interested. This isn't great literature, but it's not meant to be. Instead, it's light-hearted and cheerful which, in these days of social distancing and isolation, is exactly the sort of reading I am looking for.
