Publisher's summary

You can't mistake just anyone for a Phule.

When the planet Zenobia is invaded, Captain Willard Phule is made their military advisor. The first priority for Phule's Company: staying out from underfoot of the peaceful, dinosaurlike Zenobians....

But, unbeknownst to the Zenobians, they're getting two Phules for the price of one. A robot double of Phule appears out of nowhere. And only the real Phule knows who the real Phule is....

solid scifi from decades ago.

a simple story with no real consequences. but a lot of fun. if you want a story to simply enjoy without much thought, go for it. but it's funny to realize how much of the coming info revolution the author missed. I'm sure I'll do no better though. time makes liars or saints of us all.

this is definitely freaky like Friday

so it's a really good book it focuses a lot more on the Omega mob as a whole rather than Captain phule but it is a little slow and hard to get into in my opinion at certain points . it's still really good and really funny especially towards the end when everything wraps up in a way that gives certain people I'm not going to mention any names( General blitzkrieg) their comeuppance for being total d-bags

didn't Phule me!

as expected from Mr Aspirin, witty, light, and entertaining! a fast paced scifi / comedy. I highly recommend the series to anyone that enjoys this genre.

Classic story marred by jarring performance

I hate it when the performer mispronounces words. Perhaps the most jarring was the repeated mispronunciation of adjutant. There were others, several others. Every time it was done, I was ripped out of the story and brought back to the quality of the reading. Isn't there an editor who listens to these things? I checked a couple of major dictionary sites, the guy just read the words and guessed, albeit poorly, at the pronunciation of the words, and no one corrected him. Bah!

Humour

I love these. Light read. Laughs. Aliens. Robots. Army intelligence. What could go wrong?

Just plain fun

This has been such a fun series. I would recommend this series to everyone. I can’t wait for the next book to be released. The only problem is that I finish a book in just one day.

fun

good, fun story that moves at a satisfactory pace. narrator kept the characters straight via their distinctive voices if not their appearance. lol

Love the voices

The reader does such a great job with the different voices, keeps pace really well. Good inflections when characters are feeling things.

Phule's Company is at it again.

The forth installment still keeps giving us laughs and enjoyment. The Omega Mob is up to new hijinks when a new Major is sent to cause major troubles by taking over the Company. How does the gang handle this and where is Captain Phule? Listen and enjoy.
